Shiitake mushrooms are one of the more popular members of the mushroom family; they are also a favorite in many people's lives because of their delicious flavor. In my personal opinion, overnight mushrooms are still edible. Only in terms of nutrition, as well as taste, it will be slightly worse.
Of course, if the overnight mushrooms can be eaten, in my personal understanding, it should be divided into the following two cases:
One, uncooked mushrooms overnight
For those who are not cooking mushrooms, generally can be placed in a longer period of time, provided that the mushrooms are dry enough, and placed in the room of freshness.
These mushrooms are usually protected for about 7 days, so overnight storage will not affect their quality and we can eat them without fear.
But as shiitake mushrooms are left for a longer period of time, the corresponding flavor and nutrition of shiitake mushrooms will be lost. If the refrigerator is humid, there is also the possibility of mold.
So in my personal opinion, we should not buy too many mushrooms at once. After all, shiitake mushrooms are in good supply now, and we can just buy them when we need to eat them ourselves.
Second, cooked mushrooms
For those mushrooms that have been cooked, I think that as long as we store them properly, even if they have been overnight, they can still be eaten on the next day.
Generally speaking, shiitake mushrooms can be eaten in stir-fry or stew. If you don't have enough mushrooms to eat, you should store them in the refrigerator, whether they are stir-fried or stewed.
Placing them in the refrigerator can slow down the deterioration of the mushrooms; in a low temperature environment, even if the mushrooms are already cooked, leaving them for one night, there is still no big problem.
We can still eat yesterday's shiitake mushrooms the next day at dinner time; however, we should try to heat through the remaining mushrooms in the process, which is more conducive to good health.
Consolidating the above seems to be the case, overnight mushrooms can still be eaten, but if it is already obvious to find the deterioration, we should not be eating.
