The Revenge of Billy the Puppet
Many of the horror stories passed down in the folklore are for adults to get into the mood of a party, and many of them have been passed down to scare the children, but some of them are not just simple stories. However, some horror stories are more than that. Here is a scary story about a puppet's revenge.
Legend has it that in the 1940s, a tragedy occurred in a small American village called Ravensfell. A small child was killed, and the villagers believed that it was Mary Shaw, a local woman who made her living performing ventriloquism with puppets, who killed the little boy because the child had called Mary a deceitful spirit. The angry villagers capture Mary, cut out her tongue, and then burn her puppets in the fire. Mary was burned to death, but the puppets disappeared. From then on, the disappeared puppets would appear in the village from time to time, and every time they appeared, someone would die, and all the dead people would have their tongues cut out. So the village left this legend: when you see Mary's puppet Belgium, don't scream, because when you open your mouth, your tongue will be cut out, and the puppet will have your voice to speak, and then kill you.
Decades pass and the legend of Puppet Billy fades into oblivion until one day Jaime (Rene Wanten), who has moved away from Ravensfell, discovers that his new wife, Lisa (Laura Reagan), is strangely dead in their apartment, and it's only when he returns to the village to take care of his wife's aftermath that he suddenly remembers the story of the murderous puppets he heard as a child. Determined to solve the mystery, Jaime begins to ask his elderly and ailing father, Edward (Bob Ganton), as well as his young bride, Jaime's stepmother, Ella (Amber Valletta), for more information, and the story about Mary Shaw is brought up once again, while at the same time a detective (Donnie Wahlberg), who has always believed that Jaime murdered Lisa, arrives in the village to investigate. Jaimie and the detective investigate Lisa's death from different directions, not realizing that in the end all the suspicions focus on the legend of the puppet's revenge, and that dusty, horrific history is once again turned upside down.
