Tower structure of "Wild Goose Pagoda"
This tower also follows the old Indian custom. At first, it was five-story square solid, and later it was changed to seven-story, with a total height of 64. 1 meter. Each side of the bottom floor is 25 meters long, and it is a square pyramid-shaped tower, which is reduced from layer to layer. There is a round ticket door opening in the middle of each floor, with a hollow brick tube inside, and wooden floors and ladders on each floor.
On both sides of the south side of the tower, there are two steles written by Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong, entitled "Preface of the Three Monks in the Tang Dynasty", written by Chu Suiliang, a great calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty, with beautiful fonts, which are famous steles left over from the Tang Dynasty. The lintel and doorframe of the tower are carved with the architectural patterns of the Tang Dynasty by the negative lines, with rigorous pictures and smooth lines, which are important materials for studying the ancient architecture in China.
The tower body, Fang, bucket arch and column forehead of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda are all made of blue brick imitation wood structure, which is very tight and tight, and myopia has a downward pressure, which is solemn and dignified; Hyperopia is integrated with other courtyards and pavilions in Jionji, forming a unified environment. It is a typical artistic masterpiece of China tower architecture.
