The nutritional composition of food can be tested in the National Food Quality Supervision and Inspection Center or a third-party testing company. Nutritional composition of food is mainly tested as follows:

1, water in food, water activity test;

2, food protein and amino acid test;

3, food fat test;

4, carbohydrate test;

5, food minerals test;

6, food vitamin Tests.

Article 19

The State Council food safety supervision and management, agricultural administration and other departments in the supervision and management of the State Council found that there is a need to carry out a risk assessment of food safety, the State Council shall put forward the proposal of the health administrative department of the risk assessment of food safety, and to provide the source of the risk, the relevant test data and conclusions of such information

The health administrative department of the State Council shall promptly conduct a food safety risk assessment of the circumstances provided for in Article 18 of this Law, and notify the relevant departments of the State Council of the results of the assessment. Article 29

The local characteristics of food, there is no national standard for food safety, the provincial, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central People's Government health administrative departments can develop and publish local standards for food safety, reported to the State Council administrative department of health for the record. After the development of national standards for food safety, the local standards shall be abolished.
