Plant morphology wawei

Herbs perennial, less than 20 cm tall. The rhizome is slightly stout, transverse, densely scaly, and the fibrous roots are born below; Scales are dark brown or even dark brown, thick, linear and subulate, and the base is broadly ovoid. Leaves are extracted from rhizomes; Petiole short; Leaf blade linear-lanceolate, length10 ~18cm, width1~1.5cm, apex tapering, base tapering, leathery and thick, dark green on the top, scattered with small holes, light green on the bottom, raised middle ribs, and reticulate branches and veinlets. The upper half of the leaf back of sporangium group is round, large and yellow, which is juxtaposed on the side of the middle rib net in 2 columns and covered with peltate scales when it is young.

Born on bark, rock surface and house. Distributed in the south of the Yangtze River.
