White radish has a long history in China. White radish is planted in the north and south of the Yangtze River. Growth cycle of white radish

The growth period of white radish is 50-70 days. Its growth cycle is divided into four parts, mainly germination, seedling, leaf growth and meat growth. 1. Germination period: The germination period is from seed germination to the first true leaf. Growth mainly depends on nutrients stored in seeds, and the main growth part is absorbed by roots. Storage life and sowing depth will have certain influence on germination period. 2. Seedling stage: the first true leaf is spread to 5-6, and the main root is broken at seedling stage. The growth of absorption roots is the same as that of leaves, mainly leaves, and the main roots elongate longitudinally and begin to grow transversely. Peak period of leaf growth: From the "broken belly" period, the fleshy roots on the shoulders are obviously enlarged, which is the peak period of leaf growth. During this period, the growth of leaves accelerated, but the growth of fleshy roots was slow. 4. Carnivorous root growth period: from shoulder shedding to harvesting is the fleshy root growth period, during which it can be harvested and marketed.
