Step one
Boil vermicelli in boiling water, remove and drain for later use.

Wash the wax gourd and slice it for later use. Wash the yellow croaker, shave off the fishbone and chop the meat into paste.

Stir-fry chopped onion, ginger and garlic in hot oil, add appropriate amount of water, and put the fish paste in a paper bag.

Cut a hole in the bag with the right size, squeeze out a fish ball with the right size by hand and put it into the pot. After the fish ball is squeezed out, immediately pour in the wax gourd and cook it together. After the wax gourd and the fish ball are cooked thoroughly, add the vermicelli and stir well. Sprinkle with chopped green onion to serve.
