Chemical composition: contains soap pod saponin B-G (gleditsiasaaponin B-G), palmitic acid (palmitic acid), stearic acid, oleic acid, sterol, glutenol, twenty-nine carbonane (nonacosane) and so on.

Taste: warm, pungent flavor.

Functions: subduing swelling and toxins, draining pus and killing worms. It is used for the beginning of carbuncle or pus without ulceration; external treatment of scabies and leprosy.

Can be used in traditional Chinese medicine, mostly in the treatment of acne, granuloma, blood circulation, softening and dispersing knots.

If you don't take it in excess, the side effects are minimal.

If you don't take too much of it, there are very few side effects.
