The Office of the Food and Drug Safety Committee of Gansu Province issued relevant guidance, clarifying the establishment of a "three-safety linkage" supervision mechanism for food safety, agricultural safety and public safety in the field of food safety, improving the quality and safety guarantee level of the whole food chain and guarding the "safety on the tip of the tongue".
According to this working mechanism, Gansu Province will further build a whole supervision system from farmland to dining table. Strengthen the linkage of supervision and law enforcement, promote the sharing and cooperation of resources such as supervision, law enforcement, testing and information, eliminate the "blind area" of supervision, and realize the seamless connection between the approval of edible agricultural products and market access. We will continue to strengthen supervision over purchasing, storage and transportation activities in the production and operation of edible agricultural products, and severely crack down on violations of laws and regulations on the quality and safety of edible agricultural products.
In view of the outstanding problems reflected in the daily supervision, supervision and sampling inspection, risk monitoring, special rectification and case investigation of food safety, the food safety, agricultural safety and public security departments of Gansu Province will carry out at least 1 joint special actions around key areas, key units and key varieties every year.
Gansu Province will also accelerate the application of the quality and safety traceability system of agricultural products in Gansu Province and the integrated intelligent supervision platform of "Longshang Food Safety". Improve the quality traceability system, and gradually establish a full traceability system covering all aspects of edible agricultural products, such as breeding, acquisition, storage, transportation, processing, sales and consumption, with traceability of destination, source and responsibility.
The relevant person in charge of the Office of the Food and Drug Safety Committee of Gansu Province said that the establishment of the "three safety linkage" working mechanism aims at strictly implementing the "four strictest" requirements of food safety, strengthening the mutual connection and cooperation between departments, strengthening the connection between food safety administrative law enforcement and criminal justice, making overall plans to solve food safety problems, deepening the brand building of "Food Safety Gansu" and comprehensively improving the ability and level of food safety guarantee in Gansu Province.
