The price of local chicken is not static, nor is it the same in any city. The price of native chickens is directly related to many objective factors. The first one is the free-range chicken breeding method. I have been raising free-range chickens since I was a child. The fake native chickens are still only left outside for a month to improve the taste and are sold as native chickens. The vast majority of the current market are these fake local chickens.
There are very few real native chickens. There are also venues. The venues are large, the scope of activities is large, and the taste will be different. In addition, the prices of 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 8 months and 1 year are different. Generally speaking, the longer the time, the higher the price. The longer it takes, the better the taste will be. For example, in the past, native chickens raised in rural areas usually took one year to grow, and they tasted particularly good.
Then there are local chicken varieties. Every city has its own varieties. There are too many local chicken varieties, such as Beijing fried chicken, Chongqing Jiuyuan black chicken, Tibetan chicken from Tibet, etc. The varieties are different and the prices are also different. There are very few truly pure native chicken varieties at present. There are many that are hybrids of native chickens and some broiler chickens, but the prices will be different. There are also different feeds, and the prices will be different. For example, there are many chickens that take traditional Chinese medicine, and there are also many that take pepper seeds. But most of them still eat feed and pure grains. Finally, there are also regions where the price will be different. Generally speaking, the more developed the region, the higher the price. Prices in counties and rural areas are different.
Generally speaking, those raised on grains have a breeding time of more than 6 months, and some are raised on mountains. They are still relatively expensive, generally around 30-40. If you add some Chinese medicinal materials or other ingredients, the price will go up, and some can be sold for four to five hundred apiece. But there are still relatively few, and they are all from the high-end market. If it is some fake native chickens, for example, those that have been kept for a short time, there is still something wrong with the breed, or there is something wrong with the feed, they are sold relatively cheaply, generally more than ten yuan per pound. Overall, there is still a big difference in local chicken prices.
