French thyme, perennial subshrub. Stem lignified, much branched, creeping or growing upward diagonally. Flowers densely arranged in capitate rows; calyx narrowly campanulate, with yellow glandular dots; flowers small, lavender or pink. Nutlets suborbicular, smooth. Seed thousand grains weight 0.17g, germination power can keep 3 years.
