Strengthening the prevention and control of geological disasters is a historical mission of the land and resources management department.
In recent years, especially after the "5.12" earthquake, party committees and governments at all levels and the land and resources authorities have attached great importance to the prevention and control of geological disasters, and have paid more attention to improving the level of geological disaster prevention and control of land and resources departments and improving the rescue and relief of responsible departments when geological disasters are imminent.
In terms of emergency response capabilities, more attention should be paid to the construction of a group detection and prevention system at the city, township (town), and village levels to effectively protect the safety of people's lives and property.
Dunhua City is one of the geological disaster-prone areas. There are more than 100 geological disaster hazard spots in the city. Dunhua City currently governs 11 towns, 5 townships, 4 sub-district offices, and 299 villages. The 11 towns are:

7. Exercise background The debris flow in Yujiashang Village, Daqiao Township, Dunhua City is located in a low mountain ravine area. The rock surface is strongly weathered, the weathered layer and residual slope accumulation are thick, the vegetation coverage rate is low, and the surface rock and soil are relatively loose, which is the formation of the debris flow.
Sufficient material resources are reserved, and the slope of the hillside is between 30° and 45°, which constitutes the geomorphological conditions for the formation of debris flows.
