Xiaogang Park is a professional park with bamboo forest as the main body. Located in the southwest of Qianjin Road in Haizhu District, it was built at 1958 and opened to the public at 1975. Because there is a historical site Xiaogang Bridge in the park, it is named after homophonic. Total area167,000 square meters, including 47,300 square meters of lakes and 3.77 hectares of waters. It is the most ornamental bamboo park in Guangzhou. There are artificial lakes and elegant pavilions in the park, which is a good place for leisure. Xiaogang Park is also called "Bamboo Park" because there are bamboos of different shapes everywhere in the park.
