The No. 1 Middle School of Dianbai District, Maoming City was founded on November 8, 1914, and has a history of 100 years.

Originally named "Dianbai County Middle School", it was renamed "Dianbai County Junior High School" in 1925. The school was located in Diancheng Town. After the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War, the school was moved to Dacun Administrative Village, Xiadong Town.
