There is a Lotus Lake in my hometown. It is a park with beautiful scenery and a place for fitness and entertainment. Every day, many people go to enjoy the scenery of the park. Especially at night, there are even more people: people doing aerobics, playing badminton, playing cards...

In spring, the grass by the lake can't wait to dig out of the earth and spit out tender green buds. Many children gathered in the square by the Lotus Lake, playing and flying kites together. The little bird was chirping on the branch, as if saying hello to the children!

In summer, the big trees by the lake grow lush and green, with green leaves fluttering in the wind. There are beautiful lotuses everywhere in the lake: some of them are wearing pink clothes and are about to bloom; some have bloomed a few petals and nodded frequently in the breeze; others are competing to bloom, vying to be lotus fairies! Playing by the lake reminds people of Yang Wanli's poem "The lotus leaves touching the sky are infinitely green, and the lotus flowers reflecting the sun are uniquely red."

In autumn, the leaves of the trees are turning yellow day by day, and the leaves are flying in the breeze, falling quietly on the microwaved lake, like lonely boats. The grass seemed a little tired and huddled up in the wind.

In winter, the lake is covered with thick ice. The cold weather couldn't stop the children's interest, and everyone came to skate at the same time. The lakeside was covered with thick snow, and the children were having a great time building snowmen and having snowball fights.
