Carrying a rich history?Running for glory in Ben City?11 Postscript to the 32nd Malaysian Games

I don’t know why, but when I wrote about the Marseille this time, I kept thinking about yesterday, the past, and 60 years ago.

The words that describe myself are crossed out and replaced with words that describe Malaysia and this city.

It was only when I finished writing that I concluded that this was my emotional attachment to Malaysia.

Race records are originally an emotional sustenance and a commemoration of forgetfulness. I use my nostalgia to express my respect for Malaysia’s history and my expectations for Malaysia’s future.

The preface to this chapter tells you sincerely: Do not hold on to the concept of "Malaysia has 32 histories". The history of Malaysia can be traced back to the 10th anniversary of the National Day in 1959.

1. Run the Malaysian Marathon with a smile? The starting point is not the end point. This year’s Malaysian race day is May 12 again.

On this day in 2012, I ran my first full marathon at the 26th Malaysian Marathon, fulfilling my long-cherished wish. That year was my birth year and I entered my sixtieth year.

A new life choice, the 60th anniversary marathon started from then on, and it has been seven years since I looked back.

My 82nd Sixtieth National Marathon, the 6th race this year, was successfully completed in Malaysia on May 12th.

I met the old hero Liu Su, my best friend from the same team, and we ran 9 kilometers together to finish the race.

My time was 3 hours, 54 minutes and 35 seconds, ranking 1738th among men.

(Certificate) Dalian is beautiful in May, and the runners are in an even better mood.

This year, Malaysia is working hard to improve the level of hosting the competition, and the athletes are also looking forward to running better.

Malaysia, which is making progress, has innovated the event into the Dalian Marathon Week. It first held the mini marathon and 10 kilometers race on May 4, and then started the full and half marathon on the 12th, showing its striving for the International Road Federation Gold Medal.

The momentum of the competition.

Although there were many competitions on the same day, Malaysia still received a response with a record number of 30,000 registrations. It also won the first CCTV 5+ full live broadcast and the first helicopter aerial photography among many city competitions.

Because I am in a beautiful mood, I feel that Malaysia is more beautiful than last year.

The games were carefully organized with performances by hundreds of cultural and sports teams at dozens of places over 20 kilometers along the route, and hundreds of thousands of citizens enthusiastically watched and participated in the games, making Malaysia a happy festival in the city. Its scale and quality were significantly better than in previous years.

It didn't rain on the race day, and hopes for a cloudy day were gone. The morning temperature was not high, but the sunrise was very early and the sun was shining brightly. The suitability for the race was certainly not as good as last year, but the popularity was unprecedented.

My participation plan this year is intensive, and I need to maintain my physical fitness and avoid injuries. My target time for Malaysia is 3:50, which is the elite standard line for the age group of the Athletics Association. This has almost become my goal this year, except for the North Marathon or the horse race.

The general rules of competition, the 5.25 average pace and the time data of major nodes are already familiar to me.

Even though I am from Dalian, I have never run below my ideal time in marathons in my hometown, and I have never even entered 3:50.

Every race period, either I have just finished running the Dalian 100 cross-country race, I have a running task, or I am physically injured.

The only opportunity I had was in 2015, when I was at my peak. I had already become the official 3:30 leader in Malaysia, but in the end I did not participate in the competition and became a live TV guest.

Therefore, the target this time is 3:50, and the training status meets the requirements. It can not only maintain the age group standard line of the Athletics Association's mass elite athletes, but also set a new high in Malaysian performance. It can be said to have the best of both worlds.

My Zhengzhou runner Lao Jia and I, as well as the old heroes Liu Su, Lao Li, Zhang Wei, Xiaogang, and Wang Xia, took the athletes' shuttle bus to Donggang.

It was a joy to meet old friends and new friends. After gathering the group members to take photos, the team walked all the way to the assembly area. They then deposited their bags, untied their hands, and scanned their faces to enter the waiting area. They met with team leader Huang Tao, Shan Shui Xing, Lao Sailor, Dapeng, young runners Ao Qun,

Lian Kong, Zhao Yuxin, Mr. Zhao and others met one after another.

Mr. Zhao, a shipbuilding expert, became the official rescue rabbit, and the beautiful woman Lian Kong also became the 4:30 official rabbit.

In the waiting area, I was still chatting with many runners and taking photos. Of course, I didn’t forget to take a photo with the three disciples. We are masters and apprentices with blood type B. All of us participated in the competition and started in area B. The military leader also brought his son from Changchun.

Come over here and arrange to go run the half distance.

Smile, relax, have the same mood and expression.

Malaysia fired the gun on time.

I walked to the arch and turned on my watch, and ran my 82nd sixty-second marathon.

As a team member of the third team of the Sea Star Running Team, I wore a red T-shirt from Luyin Sports, 2XU black compression shorts, blue leggings, and silver Adidas racing shoes to compete. My teammates include the old hero Liu Su, Director Cao of Lingxing,

LSD captain Jingxin and disciple Xiao Hao are a team composed of old, middle-aged and young people.

I didn’t have a running task. I started at the planned pace of 5 minutes and 25 seconds. While running, I responded to the greetings of the runners I knew. My speed increased slightly during the brisk running. It took me 26 minutes and 45 seconds to reach 5 kilometers.

, the average pace became 5:21.

Huang Shusheng and Mr. Huang followed me and we ran together for a long time. He was still busy with projects in Xi'an, but the company in Dalian continued to stay.

I didn't make any adjustments to my speed, I just kept the average pace of 5:21 as the road changed naturally.

When we arrived at Xinghaiwan Square for 10 kilometers, we took 53 minutes and 31 seconds. I happened to meet Lao Chen, a runner from Shenyang whom I had not seen for two years, and we chatted and ran for a while.

It was here that I spotted Taishan, the running water horse.
