Recommended hotels for Beijing travel, convenient for travel

In this case, live in Dashilan Commercial Street near Qianmen. There are many old Beijing brands in this street, there is a food court where you can eat, and there is a movie theater and Daguan Tower. There are also many hotels with various conditions and grades. It's also convenient. Next to it is Qianmen Street, to the north is Zhengyangmen, and further north is Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, Tiananmen Square, and the National Museum. Not far to the south, you can get to the Temple of Heaven by bus. Very close to Xidan, Wangfujing Street and snack street. You can get there by walking.

When I first went there, I applied for a municipal bus card and deposited 50 yuan in advance. I swiped the card on the bus and got a 40% discount. It was very cheap. You can also swipe the card on the subway for 2 yuan. When you leave Beijing, return the bus card, and the remaining money and the 20 yuan cost of the card will be refunded to you.

Day 1: Arrive in Beijing and check into a hotel. It is recommended to stay in the Qianmen area, mainly because it has convenient transportation and is located in the center of the city. Depending on how long you have, you can visit Tiananmen Square, the National Museum, Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, Zhengyangmen, Qianmen Street, Dashilan Pedestrian Street, and then eat Peking duck on Qianmen Street.

The next day: Get up early to watch the national flag raising. Then enter Tiananmen Square, visit the Tiananmen Gate Tower, the Forbidden City, and exit from the North Gate into Jingshan Park. If it's early, take a bus to the Olympic Park and visit the Bird's Nest and Water Cube. Stroll around Xidan in the evening.

Day Three: Get up early and go to Badaling, Badaling Wildlife Park, Ming Tombs (mainly Dingling Underground Palace), and Shinto. Climbing the Great Wall on this day is quite tiring, so I recommend two scenic spots and a good rest at night. If you have time, you can visit the National Center for the Performing Arts.

Day 4: Take the subway to Old Summer Palace and Summer Palace, and then visit Peking University and Tsinghua University. The day is almost over. If it's early in the evening, go shopping on Wangfujing Street and have some snacks.

Day 5: Mainly go to the Temple of Heaven Park. If you are early, you can go to the Grand View Garden (the place where Dream of Red Mansions was filmed). In the evening, we went to Guijie Food Street, the most famous one in Beijing.

Day 6: Beijing Hutong Tour: Nanluogu Lane, Yandai Xiejie, Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and then go to Yonghe Palace, Prince Gong’s Mansion, and Imperial College. In the evening, go shopping in Beihai Park and Shichahai, a bar street (there are many former residences of famous people nearby, you can visit them)

Day 7: You can visit the 798 Art District and Sanlitun Bar Street. Finally, visit the Military Museum (the largest ordnance exhibition hall in Asia).

Day 8: CCTV Tower, Pacific Underwater World. Go shopping at Bairong Century Mall and Tianyi Mall.

You will probably be exhausted every day after visiting these scenic spots. Go home and have a good rest. You can come back to other places you haven’t gone to in the future.
