Rizhao is the hometown of green tea in the north of the Yangtze River and is blessed with unique opportunities for the development of its tea industry. On May 19, 2013, China Tourism Day, the Lanshan District Baili Green Tea Corridor Eco Tour was officially launched. The 102.6-mile Green Tea Corridor connects 34 administrative villages and 39,000 acres of tea gardens, striving to create a unique tea culture leisure tourist attraction integrating ecological sightseeing, tea culture experience, tea trade, rural vacation, food and entertainment. The Baili Green Tea Corridor starts from Houhuangbu Village, Jufeng Town in the east, Bojiakou Village (Zhaojia Village) in the west, Laolongwo in the north, and Datu Mountain in the south, with a total length of 102.6 miles. The corridor passes through the four major watersheds of "Chaoyuan Mountain, Beiduo Mountain, Nanbei Mountain (Dejing Mountain), and Shuangshiling" and passes through 34 administrative villages, covering 39,000 acres of tea gardens, accounting for 2/3 of the total tea garden area in Jufeng Town. During the journey of hundreds of miles, five major scenic spots have been created: Houhuangbu Chajiale Ecological Leisure Resort, Bibo Villa Tea Culture and Style Garden, Four Seasons Tea Garden Leisure Hall, Songchen Organic Tea Culture Tourism Scenic Area, and Dianjiangtai Tea Garden Base. Here, citizens and tourists can not only taste Jiangbei green tea with "fried yellow pistil color and graceful Quchen flower", but also eat tea noodles, tea dumplings and other special snacks made with tea leaves; they can also go to the lush green tea gardens Experience the fun of picking tea, and experience the elegance of tea frying under the guidance of the tea fryer; you can not only appreciate the beautiful natural scenery of the countryside, but also listen to the stories of Dianjiangtai in the Shang Dynasty, Jiulong Mountain in the Han Dynasty, Chaoyuan Temple in the Song Dynasty, and the Nanbei Mountain in Xanadu. The beautiful legend; you can also enjoy the wonderful tea art performance in the elegant music and taste the spiritual connotation of tea culture.
Since the launch of the "Baili Green Tea Corridor" ecological tour route on May 19, 2013, three tourism promotion activities have been held in succession. The promenade strives to create a number of tea culture leisure tourist attractions integrating ecological sightseeing, tea culture experience, tea trade, rural vacation, food and entertainment. Five characteristic attractions have been formed: Houhuangbu Ecological Resort, Bibo Villa Tea Culture Garden, Four Seasons Tea Garden Leisure Hall, Songchen Organic Tea Culture Tourism Scenic Area, and Dianjiangtai Base. The "Baili Green Tea Corridor" has become a green ribbon embedded in the sunshine land, and has become a corridor of wealth, ecology and prosperity.
