Kangding Road is a street in Jing 'an District, China, which starts from Taixing Road in the east and ends at Wanhangdu Road in the west. It is 2852 meters long and 12.8 meters wide to 17.5 meters. Kangding Road, formerly known as Connaught Road, was built by Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Public Concession on 1906, and was named after the younger brother of Edward VII, the British ambassador to China. The west section of Yanping Road belongs to cross-border road construction. 1943, when the government of Wang Jingwei took over the concession, it was renamed Kangding Road, named after Kangding, the capital of Xikang Province.
