Basic information
Hero Bridge is an elevated expressway connecting Changnan and Changbei. It starts from Changjiu Interchange in the north, passes through Lushan South Avenue, crosses Changbei Railway Freight Yard, Beijing-Kowloon Railway, Yingshanghe, Fenghe North Avenue, Ganjiang North Branch Road, Yangzi Island, Jiangxi South Branch Road, binjiang road and Qingshan North Road, and reaches 300 meters south of the intersection of Hongdu North Avenue and Qingshan Road in the south. /p & gt；
Hero Bridge consists of five parts: the northern shore connecting line project, the north branch bridge across the Ganjiang River, the Yangzizhou viaduct, the south branch bridge across the Ganjiang River and the southern shore connecting line project. The total length of the main line is about 9.5 kilometers, and the design speed is 60 kilometers per hour. The main bridge is designed as two-way eight-lane (local ten-lane).
Hero Bridge is a spatial twisted cable-stayed bridge with single column and leaning tower. The tower of the bridge adopts a single-column leaning tower with a height of about150m (above the bridge deck128m). The tower of Hero Bridge is inclined at 79 degrees, which is the first cable-stayed bridge of this type and scale in China. The shape of the single-column leaning tower of Hero Bridge is the highlight of the bridge. It is like a fast-developing road sign, which shows the rapid development of Nanchang's construction and shows that Nanchang is like a rising star in Ran Ran, Ran Ran. The structure of Hero Bridge is also novel and unique. There are 34 pairs of stay cables in the whole bridge. The stay cables of bridges are also different from those of ordinary bridges. The stay cables of ordinary bridges are mostly fan-shaped, while the stay cables of Hero Bridge are like a spiral staircase in spatial layout, which is very beautiful.
Design and construction
The Hero Bridge project was designed by Nanchang Urban Planning and Design Institute and undertaken by China Railway, with the design and construction reaching the world-class level. The bridge consists of five parts, including: north shore connecting line project, north branch bridge across Ganjiang River, Yangtze River viaduct, south branch bridge across Ganjiang River and south bank connecting line project.
The main line of the bridge is about 9.5 kilometers long, and the designed driving speed is 60 kilometers per hour. The cross section of the main bridge is designed as two-way eight lanes, and sidewalks1.5m are added on both sides of the main bridge. The effective width of the bridge deck is 35.5 meters, and the red line control width is 70 meters, with a total area of about 1.866 mu.
Main tower design
Approaching Hongdu Bridge, the reporter's first feeling is "fluency". According to the designer, the creative concept of this bridge is "harmony", with a single column, two towers and three cables, and the curves of the three cables are beautiful. The vertical boom is like a mast, reflecting a beautiful picture of "fishing boats sing late" on the Ganjiang River, showing the feminine side of Nanchang city.

Construction significance
