The founder experience of Sean Mara Tang
At the age of 23, Sean, a young man from Northeast China who had worked in sales for several years, came up with the idea of starting a business, but he never found a suitable project. Once when he was running business in Sichuan, he accidentally ate a bowl of mala Tang on the roadside, which was enjoyable and memorable. After careful consideration, the young man decided to take it back to Harbin.
In 2008, the first Shawn Mala Tang opened in Acheng, 23 kilometers away from Harbin. Sean thought that the spicy taste was suitable for the northeast people, and the store should be very popular as soon as it opened, but it was a great blow to him.
