Yuan Haowen, a great poet in Jin Dynasty, wrote a swan song on the bank of Fenhe River, "Ask what the world is like and teach people to live and die together", adding a bit of romantic feelings to this city full of imperial breath. Chongshan Temple, Chunyang Palace and Confucian Temple stand shoulder to shoulder, and the harmonious coexistence of religions reflects the all-encompassing broad mind of this city.

Lingxiao Twin Towers
The twin towers of Shuangta Temple are called "Jinyang Wonders" and are one of the landmarks of Taiyuan. Local chronicles listed "Lingxiao Twin Towers" as one of the eight scenic spots in ancient Taiyuan, but the original name of the temple was little known until it was replaced by "Shuangta Temple".
The Lingxiao Twin Towers are the tallest buildings among the existing ancient buildings in Taiyuan, just like a pair of twin sisters. There is another nickname for the Lingxiao Twin Towers-Writing Twin Peaks. The Lingxiao Twin Towers once amazed many politicians, thinkers and poets in history. Li Zicheng, the leader of the peasant uprising in the late Ming Dynasty, once praised this. Li Weizhen, one of the seven great literati in the south of the Yangtze River in Ming Dynasty, once recited poems for him. Fu Shan, a famous thinker and artist in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, painted for him. General Yang Chengwu, a famous soldier of the New China People's Liberation Army, paid tribute to him.
For hundreds of years, the "Lingxiao Twin Towers" of the Twin Towers Temple has been regarded as a unique artistic treasure or cultural relic treasure by literati and stunning beauty.

Juewei Mountain Scenic Area is located 24 kilometers northwest of the city. The mountains are steep, pine and cypress are everywhere, mountain flowers bloom in spring, and Qiu Lai is full of red leaves. "Rising red leaves" is one of the famous scenery in Taiyuan. There is a Duofu Temple at the top of the mountain, and there is a seven-level stupa in the temple. There are temple murals and ink painting in the temple. The delicious red leaves are one of the eight ancient scenic spots in Taiyuan and one of the top ten scenic spots in China. Cotinus coggygria is a wild shrub, and its leaves will turn from green to yellow, then from yellow to red, and finally to deep red after September. Before the leaves fall, they show their most beautiful and charming colors. Mr. Fu Shan loved red leaves all his life, and invited Gu Heyan, a famous scholar, to enjoy them here, leaving many famous sayings for later generations.
Tutang strange cypress
Silent Temple is located in Tutang Village, Taiyuan City, and was founded in Beiqi. The temple is divided into two parts. In the front yard, there is the Tianwang Hall and the East Side Hall, separated from the hanging flower gate by a wall, and in the backyard, there are the Luohan Hall and the Dizang Hall. On the west side of the temple site, there is a double-eaved pavilion built for one Buddha and two bodhisattvas on the cliff during Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty. The ancient cypress beside the temple grows strangely, and "Tutang Qibai" is a scene in Taiyuan.
The "Qibai of Tulou" in Silent Temple is also one of the eight famous scenic spots in Taiyuan. I wonder if Mr. Fu Shan's favorite Gucci Parker is here or where? Is it because this tree is strange or something else? No one can make it clear now. But there is an interesting folklore here, which means that the cypress trees around the Silent Temple were very lush at that time, but no one could count how many. A general who commanded thousands of troops came here. He tried to count these cypresses. He counted them day and night and wrote a small note on the counted cypress trees as a mark. However, when he came here the next day, he found that all the cypresses had the same notes, and the number was unclear.

Dou Shu, a doctor of the State of Jin, pronounced the word "DuDu". He once opened a canal to promote profits, and later generations set up a shrine here to worship. The shrine is under the fierce stone mountain, so it is also called the fierce stone shrine. In June of the eighth year of Song Yuanfeng, the temple was flooded by Fenshui, and the tunnel moved northward for reconstruction. There are inscriptions in all dynasties. Existing mountain gates, pavilions, halls, etc.
It was built in the third year of Yuanyou (1343), partly retaining the style of Song and Jin Dynasties. Among them, the pavilion is very large, and the back eaves column is replaced by the main hall column. The structure is concise and rigorous, which is rare in Jin and Yuan dynasties. The clear spring next to the temple gushed from the cliff of Mengshi Mountain (now called Erlong Mountain), and it was crystal clear. The water temperature of the looming fish was cold and clear, so it was called "cold spring". It complements the ancient temple of Cangbai, showing elegance. "Fierce stone cold spring" is one of the scenic spots in Taiyuan. Unfortunately, the fierce stone is still there, but the cold spring does not exist.

Qian (Insect Shu) Valley is a canyon in the northwest of Taiyuan. In ancient times, it was a tunnel connecting Jinyang and the northwest countries, and its east entrance was the famous Tianmen Pass. Emperor Yang Di once opened up traffic and built plank roads here, hence the name Sunshine Road. The cliffs here are like cliffs, and the valleys are deep. "Tianmen Snow" is one of the eight scenic spots in ancient Jinyang. At that time, Yang Guang, the secretariat of Bingzhou, built a plank road and a northbound chidao under this precipice as deep as Tianmen, which was called Yang Guang Road in history. At that time, Yang Guang, who was on his third northern tour, set out from Jinyang and led100000 officials and maids-in-waiting to visit Fenyang Palace in Tianchi, Ningwu, and lived there for five months.

The sunset on the mountain is colorful, and it comes back like an ant.
The midstream rolls and paddles clearly, and geese fly in the sand.
Looking back, I am very happy to swim across the river in autumn. At that time, I was so angry that no one could worry.
Where is the flute and drum of today's ship? Polygonum cuspidatum goes to Bai Ou every year.
In addition to natural scenery, the ancients paid more attention to artistic conception. In this way, the late crossing of Fenhe River became one of the eight scenic spots in Taiyuan in the Qing Dynasty.
