Brief Introduction of Hunan Biomechanical Vocational and Technical College
Hunan Biomechanics Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public institution of higher learning. Founded in 1903, it is a vocational college with a history of 100 years and profound cultural background in Huxiang area. Academician Yuan Longping, a world-renowned hybrid rice expert, served as honorary president of our college. In 2005, it was awarded an excellent grade college by the Ministry of Education to evaluate the level of personnel training. In 2008, it was rated as a provincial model higher vocational college. In July of the same year, he took the lead in establishing Modern Agricultural Vocational Education Group. At present, the whole hospital is working with one heart and one mind, actively exploring and striving to create a national model (backbone) higher vocational college.
Our college enrolls students for the whole country 14 provinces (regions) and has established a cooperative relationship with Hunan Agricultural University. The College is located in Longping High-tech Park, Ma Po Ridge, Furong District, Changsha. Covering an area of 2,070 mu, it is divided into two campuses (Donghu Campus, Ma Po Ridge Campus and Industry-University-Research Demonstration Field), with more than 10000 full-time students and 36 majors.
