Because my college roommate is a native of Yanji, I have heard her talk about many Yanji delicacies during my three years in college, such as barbecue, mutton kebabs, cold noodles, bibimbap, dog meat and laver rice. . . So I've been longing for it.
In June this year, I finally had the opportunity to come to this city and started my four-day gourmet tour. We arrived at Yanji Railway Station on the morning of June 3rd. We took a taxi from the station 10 yuan, and went directly to Yanji Yuehuo Hotel arranged by my roommate's house. This place has convenient transportation, and more importantly, there are many delicious foods around. Hotel rooms are clean and full of atmosphere, with French windows and 24-hour hot water. There is a free computer in my room. Even for children who are still in school, the price of 128 yuan is distressing. . . But the room is really cost-effective. PS: The boss is nice.
The following is my four-day diet strategy:
1. Yilin BBQ, located on the west side of the west gate of Yanbian No.1 Middle School, we walk to this hotel in 5 minutes, with Korean decoration and high-grade decoration; Specialties: boneless steak (one box is enough for two people), roasted Flammulina velutipes and roasted pork belly. PS: I happened to meet the hotel owner that day. Because she had a 20% discount gold card for this hotel, she also lent it to us, saving 30 yuan. Yanji people are really enthusiastic.
The service building is very cold. When I went shopping that day, I ate authentic Yanji cold noodles, which were delicious, including high-grade cold noodles and super cold noodles. We also asked for cold noodle hats (that is, all the side dishes in cold noodles, no noodles). It's the first time to eat cold noodles with chicken bone balls. It's delicious.
3. Mao Feng Chain Store. There is an old invincible chain store near where we live. I heard it was good, but we went to the chain store in Mao Feng, which was a little far but famous. The address is West Gate of Yanji No.1 Middle School 100 meters. In fact, it is only 10 minutes away. We went at 7 o'clock, and there was no room left, but there were some melon seeds outside the door. The food is just some mutton, Xinjiang skewers and crescent bones. It tastes really good.
4. laver rice. 200 meters away from the hotel, there are 5 or 6 laver restaurants. The store is small, but clean. At that time, I chose the biggest family to join in the fun. Beef and tuna-flavored laver rice are both good. I also ordered fried squid rings and onion rings.
5. Huamingtai Fish is the most famous snack restaurant in Yanji. We went at 1 1 in the afternoon, and there were still many people. They are all Koreans. We ordered some dried Pacific fish, pickles, some spicy things, potato cakes, fried seafood and drank a little wine, but the people inside were too noisy and left soon. Friends who like drinking can go.
6. Grandma Yuan provides meals on the north side of the east gate of Yanbian University Medical College. Hotel decoration is medium Korean style, with special dishes: including rice (only two people need a single serving), and then order something else, such as potato cake, rice sausage, fried rice strips, tied vegetables and fried Spanish mackerel.
7. Ginseng Chicken Soup, located across the street from Yanji City, 1 10. You can eat it when you go shopping. I don't remember which store. There are many ginseng chicken soup in that street. 50 yuan, a complete chicken, is filled with glutinous rice. This is Yanji's famous Jiangmi chicken, and Jiangmi is the glutinous rice in the south.
8. Li Chao bibimbap. Opposite Yanji Water Conservancy Bureau, about 0.7 kilometers away from the hotel, there are many people going to eat at noon. Features are miso soup, bean curd soup, Mingtai fish soup and bibimbap. Eating here, there are about 4-5 kinds of free pickles.
9. Plum blossom dog meat. We went there by taxi, near the old army division. Features are dog hot pot (with a plate of meat), tofu and rice sausage. If there are many people, you can order a dog steak. Dog sauce is necessary.
10. There are really too many other cuisines in Yanji, because time is limited, I can only taste the above ones. However, the owner of the hotel also recommended some good restaurants to my friends who had the opportunity to go, such as Rainbow Beef Soup Restaurant (0.3km away from the hotel), Heart-protecting Meat (located in Niushi Street), Quanzhou Stone Pot Bibimbap (located next to Park Bridge), Roasted Island (located on Maoershan, about 15-20 yuan by taxi) and Oriental Barbecue (located on the water in Yanji City). Thanks to my roommate, wow, this trip is great! I like the climate and food here very much. I will provide you with a food map. I hope this food guide can help you plan a beautiful, happy and careful trip to Yanji. PS: Thanks to the kind boss of Yuehuo Hotel for enthusiastically planning the food route for us.
