How do foreigners evaluate Chinese food?

Food is probably the soft power we are most confident and proud of. Foreigners have three types of evaluations of Chinese food: they think it is very delicious, they think it is average, and they think it is terrible.

I watched the recipe of "Zhang Dou Zhang Hua" before, and the first season was "What do you think, old beauty".

They are recipes made by two international students abroad. The guinea pigs are their American classmates. They will cook different Chinese delicacies for them to eat and then let them evaluate them.

The overall reviews are very high. For example, the hot pot is completely praised, except that occasionally it is too spicy for them to bear.

They are very envious of the richness of our breakfast food. They all like steamed buns, pancakes, noodles, wontons, etc. very much.

Not to mention stir-fries, even those who don’t like tofu also love Mapo Tofu and love sweet and sour pork ribs.

But there are also things they can't accept, such as preserved eggs and pig brains.

Some foreigners think that Chinese food is average. They can accept improved Chinese food but cannot accept authentic Chinese food. For them, the authentic Chinese food tastes too strange.

There are also people who have never eaten Chinese food and find it unacceptable.

It tastes weird and is not good for your health.

After all, many foreigners have a deep impression of Chinese food.

In fact, I think this is easy to understand. As a Hubei native, I love Sichuan food, but I can't accept the taste of Zhejiang and Shanghai. When I first went to Shanghai, I almost never had enough food, and everything I ate tasted terrible.

Food must suit your own taste. The different environments in which we grow up are doomed to have differences in our acceptance capabilities.

If those who hate Chinese food really want to find a Chinese food that suits them, I think they can definitely find it.

And foreigners who like Chinese food also have some Chinese food that they can't accept.
