Gongshan Dulong Nu's delicacies include slate Baba, bee pupa, sour bamboo vegetables, bamboo wine, steamed buns and so on.
1. Slate Baba: Slate Baba is an ancient food of Dulong and Nu people in Gongshan County. Since ancient times, the slate has been used as a pot and spread into the flour paste to make it. The finished product is sweet and palatable, with unique flavor and rich nutrition.
2. Steamed buns: Steamed buns are a staple food with strong satiety, and they are also an indispensable food in people's lives. They are wrapped in flour and stuffing, or made of vegetarian stuffing. The prepared steamed buns are thin and stuffed, soft and delicious.
3. Sour bamboo dish: Sour bamboo dish is a kind of tender bamboo shoot growing in the mountains. It is dug up in early summer, peeled, sliced and dried into dried vegetables (called "Meihao" in Dulong language). 4. Bamboo wine: Dulong men, women and children in Gongshan area of Nujiang, Yunnan like drinking, and every household makes wine during the harvest season. Dulong people use bamboo tubes instead of earthen jars to make wine. When brewing, they choose the best bamboo, make it into a wine cylinder, and then mix the cooked rice, wheat or sorghum with medicinal liquor and put it into the bamboo cylinder. After 7 days, open the bamboo tube cover and you can drink the mellow bamboo tube wine.
5. Bee pupa: Bee pupa is one of the most exquisite dishes among Dulong people. It is said that there are many centenarians in Dulong, which is related to their frequent eating of bee pupa. Bee pupa can be used as both food and nutritional health care products, and is known as "ginseng in the sky". Bee pupa is rich in protein, amino acids, germanium, selenium, vitamins and calcium. Besides, it also contains dozens of enzymes and some unknown bioactive substances that the human body cannot produce by itself.
