In 2014, the number of lambs raised in Liangzhou was 1 million, with an annual lamb production of 11,000 tons.
On July 22, 2015, the former Ministry of Agriculture of the People's Republic of China approved the implementation of national agricultural product geographical indication registration protection for "Liangzhou Lamb".
2. Minqin red dates Minqin red dates are a specialty of Minqin County, Wuwei, Gansu Province, and a national geographical indication product of China.
Minqin red dates have thin skin, thick flesh, small core and sweet taste. They have a cultivation history of more than 200 years.
Contains 1.2-3.3 grams of protein per 100 grams, more than 24% sugar, 80 mg of vitamin C, and also contains maslinic acid, cyclic phosphate, adenosine and triterpenoids. The calories per 100 kilograms can reach 600 kcal, which has the effect of nourishing the stomach and strengthening the body.

Due to vertical differences, Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County has formed different types of soil from high altitude to low altitude, mainly chernozem, millet soil, and gray cinnamon soil. The soil is rich in organic matter and has a good structure. The soil layer is 50-200
cm, with an organic matter content of 2.5-3.5% and a pH value of 7-7.8, which is suitable for the growth of 198 species of grasses from 139 genera and 41 families of Tianzhu white yak.
On August 3, 2012, the Ministry of Agriculture of the former People's Republic of China officially approved the implementation of agricultural product geographical indication registration protection for "Tianzhu White Yak".
