Shijiazhuang Vocational College of Science and Technology is a provincial general university approved by the People's Government of Hebei Province and registered with the Ministry of Education. The college is located in Shijiazhuang High-tech Industrial Development Zone. It adheres to the educational purpose of "serving the society and doing everything for students" and implements the educational model of "open education, closed management, and integrated services". Implement the educational philosophy of "paying equal attention to teaching and management, complementing theory and skills, and integrating academic studies and employment" to cultivate urgently needed applied talents and international talents for large and medium-sized enterprises and institutions inside and outside the province. The college currently has a junior college teaching department, a technical secondary school teaching department and an international cultural exchange department. In August 2007, the college established the first "Confucius Institute" among universities in Hebei Province in the United States - the Confucius Institute at New Mexico State University in the United States.
