Starting from February 1, 2012, the newly released preliminary planning plan for the east bank (urban section) of the Xiangjiang River Scenic Belt began to solicit opinions from the whole society.

According to the plan, the east bank (urban section) of the Xiangjiang River Scenic Belt in Zhuzhou starts from Shifeng Bridge in the north and ends at Tianchi Road in the south, with a total length of about 10 kilometers. It will be built with Long Head Head, Baishi Water Charm, Shennong Eye, Shennong Waterfall, Shennong Bay, and Galaxy Sky.

Street, Noah's Ark, Old Zhuzhou, Caiyifang, Xingfu Island and other "Ten Hedong Scenic Spots".

According to the plan, construction on the east bank (urban section) of the Xiangjiang River Scenic Belt in Zhuzhou will start within this year.

The Shifeng section focuses on creating a landscape highlight that embodies the meaning of the dragon crossing the river and the sun and moon twin towers. In addition, it also includes four major landscape nodes: Qiaotou Park, the west entrance of Shifeng Park, the renovation of the water plant pump room and Cherry Blossom Avenue.

An observation tower will be planned to be set up on the top of Shifeng Mountain near the river, named "Sun Tower". Together with the existing "Moon Tower" on the inside of Shifeng Mountain, it will form a landscape pattern of "the sun and the moon shine together".

On the hillside below the "Sun Tower", a creative landscape consisting of a climbing trail, a flowing waterfall and a viewing platform - "Dragon Heading Up" - is planned. It echoes the dragon body of the West Bund Sports Center and is like a looming passage.

Jiang Jiaolong looks at the "Sun Tower" in the distance, while the European-style fishing street on the west side complements it.

Baishi Water Charm is a T-shaped landscape highlight consisting of the Shennong Pillar and the Performing Arts Center on the north side, the central axis and pier on the south side, the extreme sports field and creative park on the west side, and the Baishi people's homes on the east side.

The power plant chimney was transformed into an urban landmark, named "Shen Nong Pillar", which can function as a clock, ecological tower or information pillar, and can be used for festival fireworks shows; the performing arts center was transformed from a coal shed; the retained large factory building was transformed into an industrial

museum.

The "Shennong Eye" scenic spot is a T-shaped scenic spot with the Ferris Wheel as the main attraction, the old hemp spinning factory building, the "Water Forest" and the "Power Plaza" of Wynn Pier.

The Ferris wheel is named "Shen Nong Eye" and is more than 120 meters high. Its unique shape and changes in night lights make it a new landmark on the east bank. It also provides citizens with a broader new perspective on the Xiangjiang River scenery belt.

As a must-have urban furniture, "Shennong Eye" is an intermodal transportation complex integrating viewing, high-end catering, commerce and other functions, and is formed according to market-oriented operation. Plans were compared and selected: Plan 1: The overhead platform adopts a curved design, which is smooth and elegant, with greenery and seats everywhere, and a coffee and teahouse commercial and leisure space opposite the Hilton, where citizens can enjoy the dusk on the east coast; adjacent to the People's Hospital

The supporting sports garden has also opened up popular sports venues, sports gardens, etc., forming a very dynamic space that can be viewed, admired, parked, and played, and has become a place and link for citizen activities.

Plan 2: The overhead platform adopts a square shape to cover the entire Yanjiang Road, and oval lighting windows are set up at the intersections of longitudinal roads such as Qiyi Road and Zhanzhan Road with Yanjiang Road to introduce light into Yanjiang Road and become a part of this section.

Landmark landscape. The large platform on the second floor can be used for special leisure, cultural exhibitions and theme celebrations. The lampposts along the river can be used for holiday fireworks and fountain performances. The scope extends from the "Yinhe Sky Street" to the south to the first water plant. The beach space uses a combination of artificial and natural methods to gradually transition the urban space to the riverside waterfront through slope greening, large steps and other means. Artificial beaches, morning exercise squares, children's play areas, open-air theaters, grass terraces, flower fields, and grass beaches are all included.

Artificial and natural elements are organically combined, with bicycle paths and walking paths running through it. Artificial sites and natural waterfronts meet and collide here. The plan is to gradually transition from a waterfront space dominated by square activity space in the central section to a waterfront space based on the flow of people.

The waterfront space in the suburban section is dominated by ecological landscapes, truly adapting to local conditions, forming water-friendly spaces with different shapes, rich layers, and diverse functions, creating a new urban waterfront life for citizens. "Old Zhuzhou" is rich in culture.

The historical and traditional district with rich folk customs is Zhuzhou's unique cultural business card and tourist attraction. It integrates temples, shops, food, tourism, etc., and panoramically displays the historical spatial layout of Jianning Ancient Town for a thousand years.

With Jianning City Gate as the core, it consists of the cruise ship terminal on the west side, the Memory Water Street on the east side, and the commercial inner street on the south side.
