The astronauts’ staple food is various cans in soft and hard packaging, in addition to staple food. In addition, there is purified water. Li Ya said that each astronaut needs about 2.5 kilograms of water per day. Most of the ordinary purified water currently sold on the market is obtained from about 100 meters underground, and the purified water that the astronauts drink is specially produced. It comes from 1,700 meters underground in the Space City. This ensures that the water source is not polluted. After further purification, no trace elements are added to it.
