Haian is a city in Jiangsu Province. Haian is located in the Suzhong Plain, bordering the Yellow Sea in the east, Rudong in the south, Taixing in the west, Jiangyan in the north and Dongtai in the north. Tongyang Canal runs through the east and west, and Chuanchang River runs through the north and south, dividing Hai 'an into three different natural regions: Henan, Hebei and Hedong.

During the natural development and evolution of the Yangtze River Delta, sedimentation and siltation continued to rise, extending and expanding eastward. The eastern part of the Yangtze River Delta landed late, and the lands in Libao Town, Dagong Town, Jiaoxie Town and other areas ranged from thousands to hundreds of years.
