Xiamen is very small, with only a few scenic spots, Nanputuo, Gulangyu Island, Xiamen University, and Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street.
Pick two a day and go shopping.
My girlfriend and I went there for 3 days and 2 nights, day 1: Nan Putuo, Huandao Road, Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, day 2: Gulangyu Island, day 3: Xiamen University, it was a leisurely trip.
Here are some thoughts: 1. There are many cost-effective hotels on Hexiang West Road. The bus station there is convenient to get to anywhere, and the price is only 1 yuan. There are not many people on the bus, and you can get a seat when you get on the bus.
A hotel we bought in a group called Yingshida is very good and highly recommended. It also has its own restaurant and convenience store, and guests can get a 20% discount on their purchases!

2. Eat snacks such as sand tea noodles, fried oysters, and asparagus jelly. In fact, the taste is average and not very delicious, but after all, it is a Xiamen specialty, so you have to try it.
Zhang San is crazy —_—! It’s all rumored. It’s so popular on Gulangyu Island that it has become a chain store. A cup of milk tea costs 20, which is average.
However, the DQ chain store on the island tastes very good. One item is half price every day, 17 yuan.
3. For two people, the total cost is only 1,800 yuan, or 900 yuan per person.
Excluding the round-trip train ticket, we only spent 500 yuan per person in Xiamen.
4. There is a meat floss shop called Huang Shengji on Gulangyu Island, which is highly recommended. It is the only shop on the island that is not a scam.
Meat floss is actually a variety of beef jerky, pork jerky, beef cubes, etc. It tastes good and is affordable.
Four packs of 200g beef cubes were only 50 yuan. I regretted buying less because I didn’t have enough to eat when I got home.
To save money, buy hotels online and take public transportation. The last point is that the Gulangyu Island combined ticket has a student ticket, which is 50 yuan per person, which saves a lot.
