The school has ten disciplines such as economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, management and art, and vigorously promotes the construction of disciplines jointly established by provinces and cities and the promotion plan of "becoming stronger and better". According to the construction idea of "running a new normal college well, strengthening new engineering courses, upgrading new liberal arts and developing new agricultural science", the school has set up 70 undergraduate majors, including 1 national specialty, 13 provincial key specialty, 9 provincial and above undergraduate specialty comprehensive reform pilot majors and 6 provincial application-oriented talent training demonstration majors.
The school also has seven provincial-level first-class undergraduate specialty construction sites, five of which have passed the IEET engineering education professional certification, and the Chinese language and literature major and chemistry major have passed the second-level normal professional certification expert entrance examination. On July 26th, 20021year, the school was announced by the Ministry of Education as a new master's degree awarding unit, and three degree points, such as pedagogy, electronic information and art, became new master's degree authorization points.
