Liuyuan belongs to Jiuquan City, Gansu Province.

liuyuan town, which belongs to guazhou county, Jiuquan city, Gansu province, is located in the north of guazhou county, adjacent to bulongji township in the east, Xihu town in the south, Dunhuang city in the west, Hami city in Xinjiang in the north and Subei Mongolian autonomous county in the northeast, with an administrative area of 937.4 square kilometers. By the end of 219, the registered population of Liuyuan Town was 698.

On May 2th, 1958, it was a Gobi town that rose after the railway was opened to traffic. In July 1963, Liuyuan Town was established. As of June, 22, Liuyuan Town has jurisdiction over two communities, and the town people's government is located at No.55, Nanda Street.

Gansu Province is located in the western part of China, in the middle and upper reaches of the Yellow River, bordering Shaanxi in the east, Sichuan in the south, Qinghai and Xinjiang in the west, Inner Mongolia and Ningxia in the north and Mongolia in the north.
