It's cold. My family often buys two kinds of seasonal fruits for children to eat. However, it is not directly eaten cold, but simply processed into two kinds of food, which children especially like. These two kinds of food are simple and easy to make, which is good for protecting their voices.
One of these two delicacies is roasted pear, and the other is kumquat jam. If children have a little cough or something, eat a roasted pear, or make a cup of kumquat water at any time. It is sweet and especially good for nourishing their throat. It is suitable for both adults and children. Let's take a look at the detailed methods.
ingredients used: 3 pears, 6 red dates, lotus seeds, lilies, medlar, crystal sugar and mineral water;
Detailed methods of baking pears:
1. Prepare the required ingredients. Pears are bigger and easier to process. Lotus seeds and lilies are dry, so they need to be soaked in advance and soaked until soft.
2. Cut the top of the pear, remove the pear core, put the soaked lily, lotus seeds, red dates, medlar and rock sugar into the pear, and then pour in mineral water;
3. Restore the previously cut pears, wrap them in tin foil, make them in turn, and put them in the oven at 23 degrees for 3 minutes. If it is a small air fryer, the maximum temperature is 2 degrees, about 2 minutes. You can also adjust the time freely according to your favorite softness, and the tin foil must be wrapped.
Take out the baked pears, open the pear lid and eat, but be careful not to burn them. Pear soup Pear meat is sweet and warm. My children especially like to eat it. They are baked once a day and are not tired of eating it every day.
In winter, the fruit is cooler, but it is drier in the north, especially when there is heating in the room, which makes it even hotter. It is ok to eat the fruit cold, but the baked pear is sweeter and more delicious and more comfortable to eat. It is also good to bake a plate for dessert after dinner.
raw materials used: fresh kumquat 75g, yellow rock sugar 1g, 1 bowl of hot water;
Method of kumquat jam:
1. Wash kumquat with clear water, you can rub the surface with salt, or like me, soak it in a food purifier for 15 minutes, and then clean it. Because this is made with skin, it must be washed clean;
2. Cut the kumquat in half, and remove the seeds inside. This requires a little patience and you have to squeeze it one by one. If you want something finer, you can cut the kumquat into smaller pieces, so that the boiled jam will not have such a big skin and look better.
3. Put the processed kumquat and rock sugar into the inner barrel of the bread maker, then pour in a small bowl of water, and start the 15th item of the bread maker, the jam function, which takes 1 hour and 2 minutes. Just press the start button.
The purpose of pouring a small bowl of water here is to help the crystal sugar melt. The first step in making jam is heating. If there is no water, the crystal sugar will not melt easily, and it will hurt the inner barrel of the bread maker when it rotates, so adding a little water can solve it. Rock sugar can also be replaced by white sugar, but it is recommended to use rock sugar, and the dosage can be adjusted according to your favorite sweetness.
If you don't have a bread machine or other machines, you can use a soup pot or a milk pot at home to make jam, but you need to stir it manually, and it takes a little time to cook it slowly with a small fire. In contrast, machines are more convenient.
The prepared kumquat jam is very thick. It will be thicker after cooling, and it tastes sweet. But I cut it in half this time, so the skin is bigger. If you mind, you can cut the kumquat smaller when cutting it, which will look better.
The prepared kumquat jam can be eaten directly on steamed bread or bread, or it can be mixed in warm water to make a drink. If my children's throat is dry and itchy and uncomfortable, just give them a cup of kumquat jam water, and it will be better after drinking it. If you meet children who don't like water, you can also use this method to let them drink more water.
The above two kinds of fruit recipes are commonly used in our family in autumn and winter. They are simple to make, and children like them. I like them myself. I recommend them to everyone. Interested friends may wish to have a try!
