In the fierce fighting, many soldiers died.

Zhong Xunren and Yang Daoming then hid themselves in the remote Jingting Temple.

Su Hua announced on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee that the creek was changed from the original underground transportation station to "Yongtai Xili of the Fujian Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China".

4. The former site of the Songkou Military-Civilian Joint Office in Songkou Community is located in Songkou Community, Songkou Town.

On July 31, 1949, the People's Liberation Army entered Yongtai from Youxi and fought fiercely with the Self-Defense Forces formed by the Kuomintang reactionaries in Songkou. Songkou was liberated on August 2.
