Kuching, the capital of Sarawak, is a riverside city. It is located on the bank of Sarawak River, about 32 kilometers away from the coast. Kuching has well-planned parks, some magnificent colonial buildings, colorful markets and crowded beaches. There are also the National Church, the Christian Church and the China Temple. Kuching has one of the best museums in Asia, which contains anthropological and archaeological materials of Borneo.
