Fuzhou Metro Line 5 is the third rail transit line in Fuzhou, Fujian, China. The first phase of the project (from Houyu Station in Jingxi to Fuzhou South Station) started construction at the end of 20 17.
The first section of the first phase (Jingxi Houyu Station-Luozhou Guzhen Station) was opened for initial operation on April 29, 2022. Fuzhou South Railway Station is being rebuilt and expanded in the first phase (Luozhou Guzhen Station-Fuzhou South Railway Station), and the subway vehicles will turn back here. Longjiang Station, Qianjin Station and Fuzhou South Station of Fuzhou Metro Line 5 are temporarily closed until the Fuzhou-Xiamen high-speed railway runs through. The sign color is elegant purple. Line 5 is the first line in Fujian Province to realize the full coverage of Gigabit 5G for civil communication. There are three transfer stations: Jinshan Station, Tang Hong Station and Difengjiang Station.
