This is the first time I have seen this monument to the Liyuan Guild Hall of the Qing Dynasty. The four characters "Liyuan Guild Hall" are engraved on the top of the stele, and the origin of the construction of the guild hall and the new facilities are engraved on the bottom of the stele.

The Liyuan Guild Hall is actually the Sishengxing Palace in Luoma City. It was founded in Shuangzhaiban and is dedicated to Lao Lang, the God of Liyuan.

It is said that Emperor Ming of the Tang Dynasty founded the Liyuan, and later generations of actors regarded themselves as the children of the Liyuan to increase their social status. Therefore, they respected Emperor Ming as the God of the Liyuan and called him Lao Lang.
