lijiatuo historical site:
lijiatuo is the epitome of Chongqing industry. Since the 193s, enterprises from outside the city gradually migrated to Chongqing, and Lijiatuo gradually developed into an industrial center at that time. From the late 196s to the mid-197s, hydropower, wool spinning, ceramics and chemical industries mushroomed in Lijiatuo's economic market.
Before liberation, the well-known enterprises in Lijiatuo, such as wool textile dyeing factory, hydraulic turbine factory and Liumian factory, developed rapidly. Until the 199s, the industrial economy became the "food and clothing parents" of the local people. At that time, Lijiatuo had about 37, permanent residents, and more than 95% of the people in the town were factory workers, family members and retirees. For example, there are four or five thousand employees in wool mills and hydraulic turbine factories.
