Extended information: The historical evolution of Changshan County: In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), Changshan County was under the jurisdiction of Yandao, Jinqu, Zhejiang Province, and in the third year of the Republic of China (1914), it was under the jurisdiction of Jinhua Road.

In the 16th year of the Republic of China (1927), the road system was abolished and a two-level provincial and county system was implemented. Changshan County belongs to Zhejiang Province.

In the 24th year of the Republic of China (1935), administrative inspection districts were established between provinces and counties. Changshan belonged to the fifth administrative inspection district of Zhejiang Province and was located in Qu County (today's Kecheng District).

In April of the 37th year of the Republic of China (1948), Changshan County was changed to the Fourth Administrative Supervision District, with its headquarters in Chun'an; in August of the same year, it was changed to the Third Administrative Supervision District, with its headquarters in Jiangshan.

On May 4, the 38th year of the Republic of China (1949), Changshan County was liberated and initially belonged to the Quzhou Military Control Commission of Zhejiang Province.

In May 1950, the Quzhou Commissioner's Office was established, and Changshan County belonged to the Quzhou Prefecture.

In March 1955, Quzhou Prefecture was withdrawn and changed to Jinhua Prefecture, and Changshan County belonged to Jinhua Prefecture.

In October 1958, Changshan County was merged into Qu County.
