I've had Ling Yunzhi for a long time, and I'm back in Jinggangshan. In the spring of 1965, Mao Zedong, the national leader who had been away from Jinggangshan for 36 years, once again set foot on this haunted homeland.
The local authorities prepared a warm reception ceremony, and specially arranged for two peasant women to catch up with Mao Zedong. As soon as the three met, the two peasant women said in tears, "Chairman, we finally expected you! We have missed you for more than 31 years! "
Seeing this scene, Wang Dongxing was somewhat puzzled. What exactly were these two peasant women, who said such things to Chairman Mao?
Later, Chairman Mao took two peasant women and enthusiastically introduced them to the staff: "They are both my sisters-in-law, and we used to have a good friendship!"
Wang Dongxing was suddenly taken aback. What exactly are these two peasant women called "sisters-in-law" by Chairman Mao? What legendary stories happened more than 31 years ago ...
In 1927, after the failure of the Great Revolution, the China Revolution began to seek a new path of change. At the "August 7th Conference", Mao Zedong proposed for the first time that "political power came out of the barrel of a gun", which opened the prelude to the armed revolution in China.
After the failure of the autumn harvest uprising, our army was frustrated in a series of attacks on central cities. Under the banner of sickle and axe, Mao Zedong resolutely changed his route with a wave of his hand, and put forward the revolutionary road of "encircling cities from the countryside and seizing political power by armed forces"!
But the urgent task at the moment is to build a solid rear area. Mao Zedong thought it over and over again and took his team to Jinggangshan.
Jinggangshan enjoys good geographical conditions, convenient transportation, being able to attack in advance and defend in retreat, and numerous dense forests are used as barriers for the revolutionary ranks of workers and peasants, which is simply a combination of the right time and the right place!
However, this Jinggangshan is not something that anyone wants to go to. There are two armed forces on the mountain, one led by Yuan Wencai and the other led by Wang Zuo. The two forces occupy the Mao Ping and the five wells, which are horns and echo each other.
Speaking of Yuan Wencai and Wang Zuo, they were two poor farmers in Ninggang County and suichuan county, near Jinggangshan. Yuan Wencai's family was very poor, so he dropped out of school and went home before he graduated from middle school.
He was so hot-blooded that he didn't want to accept the exploitation and oppression of local local tyrants and evil gentry. He organized a group of young people to fight against local evil gentry, and as a result, he was retaliated by the government.
Not only was the granary of her house burned down, but her mother was brutally killed, and even her new wife was occupied by evil gentry. Angry Yuan Wencai resolutely joined the sabre team established by Hu Yachun, the leader of the local greenwood, and soon became the leader of the sabre team.
in 1924, Yuan Wencai led a sabre team to attack Ninggang county, and the county government was burned to ashes by a fire. The Jiangxi provincial government immediately sent officers and men to pursue Yuan Wencai. With the understanding of Jinggangshan terrain, Yuan Wencai and these officers and men beat around the bush on the mountain, and the exhausted enemy soon took the initiative to retreat. At that time, Yuan Wencai and the sabre team became famous on the Hunan-Jiangxi border!
Wang Zuo lost his father when he was a child, orphans and widows lived alone, and the only mountain in his family was occupied by local tyrants and evil gentry. At that time, the land was the life of farmers, and Wang Zuo, who had no land, could only choose to work in the landlord's house to make a living.
At the age of 15, Wang Zuo began to study tailoring for a living, and spent all his time with the loom silk thread. A seven-foot-tall man wasted all day in this narrow world. In a state of irritability, Wang Zuo tore off his apron, took refuge in the famous local boxer Wang Dongwen and began to learn martial arts.
In 1923, Wang Zuo joined the team of Zhu Deaf, the leader of the green forest in Jinggangshan. Wang Zuo did not like to talk, but he had a vicious spirit and was very brave in fighting, which won the appreciation of Zhu Deaf.
It didn't take long for Wang Zuo to set up his own team, recruiting everywhere, and under the banner of "robbing the rich to help the poor, eliminating violence and protecting the people", he soon attracted a large number of enthusiastic young people. At that time, all the mountain villages in Yongxin and Suichuan were under the control of Wang Zuo, and Wang Zuo became a veritable mountain king in Jinggangshan.
Wang Zuo's power is growing day by day, and the local tyrants and evil gentry are in a hurry. They gather a large number of officers and men into the mountains to encircle and encircle, but they find nothing. At this juncture, Wang Zuo's team is in conflict.
Wang Zuo found Yuan Wencai without saying anything, and with the help of Yuan Wencai, he eradicated the dissidents. Since both of them were born in 1898, and both of them were Hakkas, after this incident, they became sworn brothers and became the renowned local leaders on the Hunan-Jiangxi border.
if Mao Zedong wants to go to Jinggangshan, he must get the support of Yuan Wencai and Wang Zuo.
In fact, Mao Zedong has heard the names of Yuan and Wang for a long time. He said at the front committee meeting, "They are greenwood hero, and we are kings of grass. We can be one family. I will go to worship the mountain if I have the chance!"
unexpectedly, the opportunity to "worship the mountain" will come soon.
In September of 1927, Mao Zedong led a team to Sanwan. After the adaptation of Sanwan was completed, he immediately wrote a letter to Yuan Wencai, expressing that he hoped to reach a cooperative relationship with Yuan Wencai.
A few days later, Yuan Wencai sent a small piece of paper, which read: "Our people are poor and barren, but there is no room for giant whales in Wangchi, and the forest is not inhabited by Dapeng. Your army is galloping in the revolution, so you should choose another smooth road."
After being rejected by Yuan Wencai, the Front Committee immediately held an enlarged meeting in the ancient city to study how to deal with the local armed forces in Yuan Wencai and Wang Zuo. At the meeting, many activists said that they would destroy their armed forces.
Mao Zedong pushed through the crowd and said firmly, "your is too small, and there are still many friends in the three mountains and five mountains. We should unite them, transform them and unite them into a big team, and the ruling class can't do anything about us!"
Indeed, Yuan Wencai and Wang Zuo have been active in Jinggangshan for a long time, and they know the terrain. If they can help them, they will surely become a very powerful revolutionary team in the middle of Luoxiao Mountain range.
However, the two men who were born in Greenwood also retained a strong habit of wandering around, which was both a shortcoming and an advantage. Mao Zedong decided to gain the trust of Yuan Wencai and Wang Zuo through this.
It is well known that loyalty is the most important thing for all the people in the Greenwood. When we met in Dacang Village, Ciping, Mao Zedong only brought six or seven people with him, and he didn't have any weapons on him. On the contrary, he embarrassed the heavily guarded Yuan Wencai.
During the conversation, Mao Zedong sincerely said to Yuan Wencai, "Don't believe in any land bodhisattva. The land is developed by farmers. Only by letting the people get the land will the people support us, otherwise we will be untenable here."
Later, Mao Zedong explained to Yuan Wencai that he had many guns but few people, and promised to send Yuan Wencai the guns and ammunition he needed. Seeing that Mao Zedong was so sincere, Yuan Wencai was finally moved, completely dropped his guard against Mao Zedong, and warmly invited Mao Zedong and the revolutionary team of workers and peasants to develop in Jinggangshan.
After the Revolutionary Army of Workers and Peasants settled in Mao Ping, Yuan Wencai sent 1,111 yuan to solve the funding problem of Mao Zedong, and raised tens of thousands of kilograms of grain and a large amount of cloth to solve the problem of food and clothing for the army. Later, he helped Mao Zedong to set up a hospital and a rear office with his own money.
Wang Zuo also laid down his guard against Mao Zedong and slaughtered pigs and sheep to entertain the arrival of the revolutionary army of workers and peasants. In order to express his gratitude, Mao Zedong presented Wang Zuo with more than 71 guns, saddles, holsters and other materials.
without saying anything, Wang Zuo and his team went to fight local tyrants and evil gentry and raise money and property for the revolutionary army of workers and peasants.
Three people of similar age soon became good friends who talked about everything. For the sake of better development in the future, Mao Zedong sent Chen Bojun, You Xuecheng and other cadres to Yuan and Wang's troops for transformation.
In fact, for Yuan Wencai and Wang Zuo, as long as you are dedicated to the working masses and persist in being enemies of local tyrants and evil gentry, you can gain their trust and help.
One day in February, 1928, on the broad lawn in front of Zhujiajian Temple in Ninggang, Mao Zedong personally announced that Yuan Wencai and Wang Zuo's troops were co-edited as the Second Regiment of the First Division of the Revolutionary Army of Workers and Peasants, with Yuan Wencai as the head, Wang Zuo as the deputy head and He Changgong as the party representative. Since then, this green forest armed force active in Jinggangshan has become a disciplined, task-oriented and strict revolutionary team of workers and peasants.
As soon as the troops were reorganized, Yuan Wencai and Wang Zuo took part in the annihilation war against the regular Kuomintang army-the New Town Battle, and won a great victory!
Mao Zedong was so happy with this good news that he came to Wang Zuo's house for dinner to celebrate. Wang Zuo's wife, Lan Xilian, deliberately killed a chicken and cooked chicken soup for Mao Zedong. After the delicious chicken soup was served, Mao Zedong was reluctant to drink it and gave it all to everyone.
From then on, Mao Zedong, Yuan Wencai and Wang Zuo became good friends who talked about everything. Not only did they have a tacit understanding at work, but the three families were also very close in life.
at that time, Mao Zedong went to Yuan Wencai and Wang Zuo's house as soon as he was free. Yuan Wencai's wife Xie Meixiang was good at sewing clothes and shoes for Mao Zedong. Wang Zuo's wife Lan Xilian was good at cooking. Every time Mao Zedong came to visit, she always arranged a large table to satisfy everyone's appetite.
Mao Zedong remembered the kindness of two sisters-in-law, Xie Meixiang and Lan Xilian, all his life ...
"Commissioner Mao is the most knowledgeable person. Talking with him once is really better than studying for ten years!" At that time, Wang Zuo often uttered such a sigh.
In the hearts of Yuan Wencai and Wang Zuo, Mao Zedong is not only their eldest brother, but also their life mentor.
with the concerted efforts of the three people, Jinggangshan revolutionary base area quickly took root and sprouted, and all nearby counties set up perfect party organizations and woven an effective contact network.
But this peaceful life didn't last long. A decision made by the Sixth National Congress of CPC completely changed the fate of Yuan Wencai and Wang Zuo.
At this meeting, it was specifically pointed out that bandits must be disarmed, bandit leaders should be treated as counter-revolutionary leaders, and these "dangerous elements" should be resolutely expelled from the revolutionary ranks.
After receiving the document, Mao Zedong held a meeting before he could read it carefully. As a result, when he read it, he saw the six characters "Disarm Bandits" written impressively in the document.
Mao Zedong briefly skipped this article and read the following contents.
After the meeting, a small emergency meeting was held in Mao Zedong. The topic was "armed bandits". Mao Zedong firmly said: "Yuan Wencai and Wang Zuo were born in party member, and they fought for the revolution and made great contributions!"
Chen Yi said earnestly, "I just reported to the Central Committee that Yuan Wang's troops have made great contributions to the revolution. How did this happen?"
However, there are many people in the Party who are in favor of the regulation of "disarming bandits", including Long Chaoqing, the "sworn enemy" of Yuan Wencai and Wang Zuo. The contradiction between native nationality and Hakka nationality has existed in Jinggangshan for hundreds of years, and it is not a contradiction that can be solved in one or two years.
In the end, Long Chaoqing and others used this regulation to persecute Yuan Wencai and Wang Zuo to death while Mao Zedong left Jinggangshan.
Xie Meixiang, his wife, was working in the old house. When she heard the news of Yuan Wencai's death, she cried herself out. When she woke up, Xie Meixiang shouted, "I'm going to find Commissioner Mao. Commissioner Mao has been to my house many times, and he knows best about Choosing Three (Yuan Wencai alias)!"
The comrades nearby said helplessly, "It was Commissioner Mao who went down the mountain that they dared to kill him!"
Hearing this, Xie Meixiang was silent. Later, the Kuomintang reactionaries came after Xie Meixiang and others. This strong woman risked her life to save the leather leggings presented by Mao Zedong to Yuan Wencai and the photos of Yuan Wencai. She believed that the * * * production party would definitely rehabilitate Yuan Wencai, and Commissioner Mao would definitely uphold justice for her.
After Yuan Wencai's death, Xie Meixiang gave her two daughters to others as child brides, and she took her young son anonymously, waiting day after day for the day when the Party organization would clear Yuan Wencai's name.
After Wang Zuo's death, his second wife, Hsia-ying Lo, remarried soon, and only his first wife, Lan Xilian, kept the Wangs home for decades.
Wang Zuoben had five brothers, but none of the other brothers could help Lan Xilian. After Wang Zuo was killed, his brother Wang Yunlong took the initiative to take refuge with Xiao Yubi, taking not only all the property of Wang Zuo, but also the children of Lan Xilian and Wang Zuo.
Wang Yunlong is very unkind to Lan Xilian. He is worried that Wang Zuo's son will compete with himself for property, and he is not allowed to study. He is allowed to herd cattle and horses at home every day. Under such a living environment, Lan Xilian finds it difficult to raise her children and grow up.
Xie Meixiang and Lan Xilian stayed until the founding of New China, and their lives gradually improved.
In 1965, Mao Zedong, who had been away from Jinggangshan for 36 years, often dreamed of Jinggangshan in his dreams. He said with great emotion to Wang Dongxing, deputy director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee, "I am old and often dreamed of Jinggangshan, and I really want to go back and see it ..."
On May 21th of this year, Wang Dongxing accompanied Mao Zedong to finish his inspection work in Changsha and took the train to Jiangxi together.
Soon, Mao Zedong and his party arrived in Liling. Under the protection of the guards, Mao Zedong strode off the train and stood on the platform, looking at the hill in the direction of Jinggangshan, lost in thought.
in a short time, a silver-gray Jim car stopped in front of Chairman Mao. After Chairman Mao got in the car, the motorcade sped to Chaling County.
that night, a group of people stopped at the Chaling County Committee Guest House. After dinner, Mao Zedong, accompanied by Wang Dongxing, walked along the path full of flowers, breathed the familiar air and looked at the scenery after a long separation. Mao Zedong was in high spirits and said a lot.
Early the next morning, Mao Zedong's motorcade headed for Yongxin County, Jiangxi Province. The group had lunch in Yongxin, and Mao Zedong, who had not eaten Jiangxi flavor for a long time, was deeply moved and praised: "This meal is very delicious, more fragrant than that in the past, and it is leisurely."
After lunch, the motorcade continued on its way to Ninggang, and finally stopped in front of Xie's Shen Gong Temple in Mao Ping Village under Jinggangshan.
amid the green hills, an adobe building came into view. The local people affectionately called it the "octagonal building", where Mao Zedong hosted the first congress of the Soviet Hunan-Jiangxi border.
The staff asked Mao Zedong to get off the bus. Mao Zedong waved his hand and said to the driver, "Don't stop, Lao Zhao, you turn around slowly and we'll go up the hill!"
The driver nodded and drove slowly around the octagonal building. Mao Zedong opened the curtain and looked at the building in front of him affectionately. Countless memories welled up in his mind, which made his eyes red.
At this moment, the driver stepped on the gas pedal and drove straight on the Panshan Highway leading to Huang Yangjie.
72-year-old Mao Zedong stood on the towering Huang Yangjie and excitedly said to Wang Dongxing, "This is Huang Yangjie!"
"That song" Xijiang Moon Jinggangshan "was written here, just after Huang Yangjie defeated Hunan and Jiangxi.
