Xi 'an Academy of Fine Arts, located in Xi 'an, Shaanxi Province, is an art college, a "first-class university in China" in Shaanxi Province, a provincial high-level university, a demonstration base for red classic art education in institutions of higher learning of the Ministry of Education, and a northwest animation education base of the Ministry of Radio, Film and Television.

The third academy of fine arts in China has the right to award doctoral degrees, the first batch of master's and bachelor's degree awarding units in China, the first batch of MFA postgraduate training units, the qualification certification unit for in-service postgraduate training of university teachers, and the social art level examination institution.

Xi Academy of Fine Arts was founded in 1949. Its predecessor was the Second Branch of Northwest People's Academy of Fine Arts. /kloc-0 moved from Linfen, Shanxi to xingguo temple, xi in July, 1949, and was renamed the Art College of Northwest Military and Political University. After the Northwest Art College and the Northwest Art College, it was officially named Xi Art College in May 1960, and the whole college was 1994.
