02. Here's a coloring technique, which is to paint a light color first. If I start with the eyes, I will draw the whites and highlights of the eyes first. In fact, these two parts are not necessarily painted in white, but it is quite easy to make the picture dirty with oil pastels. If you are not careful, the white paper will be stained with scraps. If you paint a layer of color first, you can pick it off with a blade, which is convenient for cleaning and setting. Before applying pure white, observe whether there is noise in the pen. If there is, find a piece of white paper, turn the pen to remove the noise and then color it.
Next, I painted my skin with a flesh-colored oil pastel. I think hardcover has higher flesh color saturation, easier coloring and less crumbs. Compared with hardcover painting, the flesh color of ordinary yellow boxes feels a little thin on paper, so I won't talk about breadcrumbs, but it is ok to draw a small part with thin yellow boxes, so I usually use hardcover, and the rest are ordinary, which leads to the shortest flesh color in my whole hardcover. When painting skin color, we should pay attention to avoid the eyes, mouth and hair we want to draw behind, because the oil pastel will be dirty and greasy if it is not carefully adjusted, so we should think about the effect of the next step or even ten steps before painting. When I draw here, my fingers are flesh-colored, but in order to avoid confusing the boundaries between my face and my hands at the back, I put my fingers and arms at the back and color them.
Then point out the position of the pupil with a black oil pastel. From now on, all the yellow boxes are used. After completing the pupil position, connect the colors on the black side with light brown, and then draw the outline of the whole eye with dark brown. Pay attention to changing the angle of the pen tip at any time when drawing, and try to draw the side peak within the pencil line. After painting the eye color, draw the eyebrows with dark brown. Then draw the outline of the upper eyeliner and eyeball with dark brown colored lead, then draw the outline of the highlight part in the eyeball clearly, and then draw eyelashes. When drawing, put a piece of paper towel or white paper under your hand, which will actually bring various colors of debris. Better put it on.
Next, color your lips with a big red oil pastel. When painting, you can click to draw a little red lip, and then gently draw the approximate position on your cheek. Later, I will mix the color with the common flesh color, which will produce a healthy and bright skin color. Then, draw red on the tip of the nose, leaving a blank part of fallen leaves on the nose. Then click on the color matching with the flesh color of the yellow box and smear it evenly.
First, I draw the eyelids and canthus with red colored lead, tick off the outline of the lower part of the nose, then gently draw a transition on the coating of the oil pastel, so that the colored lead can be painted on the oil pastel, then I draw double eyelids, darken the eyelids with the previous red color, or understate it, otherwise I will scrape off the oil pastel I drew before, then tick off the mouth shape, deepen the lip color, and trim the eyebrow outline.
03. Then we began to dye our hair. We use hardcover oil pastels here. Because of the large hair area, I used a thicker color. The colors used are actually the same as those used to draw eyes, dark brown and light brown. The corresponding colors in hardcover are called dark brown and ripe ochre. When drawing hair, you should follow the direction of hair in the previous pencil draft. The light-receiving surface is bright, and the shadow part is dark or a mixture of these two colors. When mixing colors, the order of dark and light colors is different, and the background color of the hair will be different. You can feel it yourself. There is also a sense of the overall situation when painting, and the strong coverage of oil pastels will make you feel confused in the later period.
The colors used in the leaves are olive green and dark olive. The left and right halves of the leaves are colored, and the tips of the leaves are red. Because the leaves begin to turn red in autumn, we should pay attention to the relationship between the leaves when painting, and point out the small red fruits between the leaves in red after spreading the general colors.

05. I didn't finish the plant part once, and then I started to hook my hair with a homemade wooden pen. In fact, there are pins, toothpicks, art knives or ink pens that can't write colors. You can choose according to the line thickness and ease of use. Personally, I think it's a little hard to use a pin or toothpick for a long time, so I made a wooden pen. How to do it is to use a disposable chopsticks pencil sharpener, and then use it after processing the thickness with an art knife. When you hook your hair, first hook the outline of each hair, and then divide it into small pieces to hook your hair, so that it won't be messy, that is, from big to small and then to each hair. There will be a lot of debris during the inspection, please clean it up in time, otherwise it will accumulate more and more, and the picture will be dirtier, because dirt is inevitable, so we can only try to reduce the coloring of debris.
After hooking my hair, I began to repair the details with colored lead, that is, trimming and smoothing these burrs, using the same or similar color as the oil pastel. Trimming details is to clean up the edges and distinguish the relationship between objects. When drawing hair, you can trim the edges and enlarge them, and adjust them according to the picture effect. It's very patient to draw this part. It doesn't matter to take your time, but don't be impatient.
Next, I drew a gray cat with a light gray oil pastel, drew a meat pad on the cat's paw with a pink and white oil pastel, and then drew stripes with a light brown oil pastel and blended with gray to prepare for the cat's hair behind. Then put it next to the cat, and I began to draw the lower part of the picture, that is, clothes and plants. First of all, I painted pomegranate leaves on my clothes and painted them sapphire blue. Well, pomegranate used to be in autumn, and then I drew leaves in the lower right corner, the same way as on the left. Remember to order some red fruits after painting.
Then use wooden strokes to draw cat hair, according to the growth direction. Then notice that there are two plants on the back of the cat's head. Pay attention to the relationship between the front and the back when drawing. Details can be supplemented with colored lead. I made this on my arm with some red fruit. Scrape off the coating with a wooden pen first, and then paint it red, which can reduce the greasy caused by mixed color. Then draw the remaining plants and fruits here on the cat's tail. Then color the pomegranate fruit and describe the details of some plants in the lower left corner. The so-called detail description is to draw a smooth outline with a colored pencil and distinguish the relationship between the arm and the plant, and the relationship between the hair and the plant. If necessary, scrape off the excess coating with a utility knife and tick out the texture with a wooden pen.
Then we drew bees, and the expression was quite helpless. We first hit the bottom with an oil painting stick, and then painted the stripes, eyes, tentacles, wings and other things of bees in black, brown and blue, as well as the flying track behind them. After painting these, I began to draw the plants in front of my clothes. The relationship between these plants is a bit complicated, so it took me a long time to sort out the relationship, but it will be fine after sorting it out, so don't give up when painting here. The painting is the same as before.
Remember to draw the veins of small leaves on your nose, and then add some red with red lead. I'm scraping off the small particles of the oil pastel stuck to my face with an art knife, and then I'll clean up the picture. Next, we will draw the details of pomegranate fruit, using sapphire blue and deep red lead to draw the leaves and fruits respectively. Then finish the neckline and left hand, and draw it directly on the oil pastel coating with a red colored pen to create the neckline shadow and distinguish the positive and negative effects of fingers and face.
06. Then complete the plants on the right side of the cat's tail. The painting is the same as before. Many steps are actually repeating the previous actions. Pay attention to the context when drawing. Next, finish the outline of the second half of the cat with gray lead, and then deepen the outline with black lead. Don't miss the pink meat pad. Draw small paws and fill them with a little pink after painting.
07. Then we began to enrich the picture and look at the small blue plants behind the 459 green leaves with sapphire lead. This part is just looking at the picture. If you feel lacking, you can draw the leaves in. Remember to connect them together, it seems that there is an increasing trend. Then we finished the clothes. This part is colored with colored lead, and the colors used are Kong Quelan and dark green. The final result is a sharp color contrast with the red pomegranate fruit.
The yellow background here is made of khaki lead. Cover all white backgrounds, and remember to leave a pink flower area as an ornament. The picture of the second bee is the same as the previous one. Then I drew English words for autumn. I used black and brown lead and dark brown oil pastels here. After painting, I thought the color was too dark, so I scraped off the color of the oil pastel with a utility knife.
08. Then continue to draw with khaki pencils, draw petals and flower hearts with pink and yellow pencils, and there are two or three osmanthus flowers in groups. Then fill in the parts that were not painted before, such as the decoration in the neck, a few plants in the background, and green clothes. Then draw the rest of the background with a khaki pencil, draw some osmanthus flowers, and finally make the final adjustment to the picture.
