The arrival of Kangxi began in 2004.

"Kangxi Is Coming" is a Taiwanese TV talk entertainment program. It was produced by Chungta Production before 2009 and by Venus Production Company since 2009. It was launched on Zhongtian Comprehensive Channel on January 5, 2004.

The original title is "Strange Ten O'clock: Kangxi Is Coming".

The word "Kangxi" is taken from the second characters of the names of the two male and female hosts: Cai Kangyong and Xu Xidi.

The earliest idea for the program was when Wang Weizhong asked Cai Kangyong to open a new show as the host. Cai Kangyong agreed and made a suggestion to invite Xu Xidi as his hosting partner. Cai Kangyong appreciated that her lively, funny and nonsensical style had a both solemn and humorous effect with his, one of them was intellectual and the other

Funny and funny, it finally led to the formation of the show.

On October 16, 2015, Cai Kangyong announced on Weibo that he would leave the show. Not long after, Xu Xidi also posted on Weibo that she would leave together with Cai Kangyong.

Wang Weizhong, the boss of the program production company, confirmed that "Kangxi" will be stopped: the program only belongs to the two of them.

The show finally went off the air after completing its final recording on December 2, 2015 and airing its final episode on January 14, 2016.

The next program was "Little Star Big Follower" hosted by Jacky Wu Zongxian and his eldest daughter Sandy Wu Shanru.
