Dehua, Fujian: Standing in the Heart of the Sky and overlooking the "Daixian Waterfall". If you ask what is the most popular new attraction in Fujian in 2020, it must be the "Heart of the Sky 1314 520" in the Niushan Scenic Area in Dehua, Quanzhou.

This giant glass observation deck is suspended above a deep valley of more than 300 meters. Below is the famous "Dai Xian Waterfall" in Dehua. Standing on the edge of the "Heart of the Sky", you can see the surrounding peaks and the infinite scenery.

The scenic spot has quickly become an Internet celebrity since it opened in August. You can often see large advertisements when walking on the streets of Xiamen. I was so inspired that I decided to go and take a look. I also visited two famous mountains in Dehua - Shiniu Mountain and Jiuxian Mountain.

Shiniu Mountain and Daixian Waterfall used to be two separate scenic spots. This time they were merged into one after reconstruction and are collectively called "Shiniushan Scenic Area".

Tickets are purchased for 280 yuan on a certain journey, including scenic bus and cable car fees, and you can visit various scenic spots along Shiniu Mountain and Daixian Waterfall.

This is the entrance to the scenic spot. The architectural design is "arrogant" and the advertising slogan is also very suitable for the occasion: "Be a great person, be lucky, and climb the Cow Mountain".

The Shiniu Mountain cableway is divided into three sections, with a total distance of 7.2 kilometers. It takes about half an hour to run one way.

I thought I would start taking the cable car as soon as I entered the scenic spot, but I didn't expect that the cable car station is built on a high mountain and has to climb a flight of stairs to reach it.

Halfway through, I looked back at the entrance. Finally, out of breath, I climbed to the first station of the cable car, "Dai Xian Station." There were eight people in a cable car, and they began to climb over the mountains and ridges.

The scenery along the way is very good, with endless forests and bamboo seas outside the window. Unfortunately, due to the backlight and glass reflection, I couldn't take clear photos during this stretch of the road.

After sitting for a while, the cable car gradually approached the top of the mountain. In the distance, we could see the white "Heart of the Sky" viewing platform on the edge of the cliff. Below was the Daixian Waterfall. A little ahead on the left was the "Oil Leaking Waterfall". Unfortunately, there was no water and rocks.

Only water marks were left on the wall.

Unfortunately, it has not rained in southern Fujian for a long time, so the amount of water in Daixian Falls is very small, and it is not as spectacular as it once was.

Daixian Waterfall is the waterfall with the largest single-level drop in Fujian Province, reaching 184 meters. It is only 13 meters different from the "Dalongqiu Waterfall" in Yandang Mountain, which is the highest waterfall in China.

Looking at the "Heart of the Sky" from the side, there is a mountain-encircling cliff plank road next to it, which is 3 kilometers long and has a height difference of 314 meters. From a distance, the plank roads on both sides are in the shape of a heart, winding on the cliff.

The only heart-shaped three-dimensional waterfall-encircling plank road in China.

If you don't take the cable car, you can also walk all the way up the plank road. Of course, walking with such a high drop will be very difficult.

We got off at the second station of the cable car, "Jinfeng Station", and took a battery car to "Heart of the Sky".

The battery car drove around the mountain road for about seven or eight minutes and arrived at the "Heart of the Sky". The billboards read "A place you must visit once in your life to swear your love" and "Play with your heartbeat".

The "Heart of the Sky" glass observation deck protrudes 52 meters out and covers an area of ??520 square meters. This number contains "I love you". The suspended height is 314 meters, symbolizing 1314, which means life, so "1314 in the sky" is everywhere

"Heart of the Sky" is the most popular place in the Shiniu Mountain Scenic Area. It is crowded with people in the peak season. Even if you want to take a photo with few people at noon in the off-season, you have to wait for a long time.

The observation deck adopts a 60-meter cantilevered beam without back cable arch tower cable-stayed bridge, and can accommodate up to 300 people at one time.

[Laughs] "Heart of the Sky" is much better than the glass observation deck of the Grand Canyon in the United States. The glass is very transparent and the scenery below is clearly visible. It is large and is definitely a challenge for those who are afraid of heights.

I saw many people who were afraid of heights that day. I remember a boy who was forcibly dragged to the edge by his companions. He sat on the ground and trembled non-stop. He was so frightened that he could not speak.

The following is an aerial photo taken online. This one was taken while standing on the heart-shaped cliff plank road. After visiting the "Heart of the Sky", we took the battery car back to "Jinfeng Station" and continued to take the cable car to "Shiniu Station" to climb to the top of Shiniu Mountain.

When I was going down the mountain in the evening, I passed by the commercial street of the scenic spot. I rushed in at noon without taking a closer look. At this time, most of the tourists had left, and the street was very clean.

Only then did I realize that the decorations along the way were very distinctive. There were three cows at the entrance of the commercial street, each of them dressed extremely showily.

[Biya] There is a small stream on the street. Outside the gate is the "Shiniushan Hotel". I didn't get to see the spectacular Daixian Falls during this trip. I'll post a picture online to save my own imagination, so I'll pretend I've seen it.
