That year, group purchasers purchased Mercure Phase II residences at prices ranging from 1,480 yuan per square meter to 1,998 yuan per square meter. Each group purchaser paid a 40% down payment to complete the order.
According to the order agreement signed at that time, the second phase of Mercure was delivered in October this year.
However, the project has not yet been formally constructed.
Recently, many group purchasers have received notices. The units that drafted the notices are the Qiaoxi District Government Affairs Administration and the Qiaoxi District Real Estate Development and Operation Corporation.
In the notice, the above two units officially announced to all group purchasers the planning adjustment of Mercure Phase II, which will be changed from multi-story residences to high-rise residences, and the floors, unit types, etc. will also change accordingly.
What worries most group purchasers is the substantial increase in housing prices, from less than 2,000 yuan per square meter to an average price of about 2,700 yuan.
Many group purchasers found it difficult to accept this.
