Colorful Guizhou trip (6) Libo, green waves, the poetic picture of nature (Part 1)

8. At 8:30 in the morning, the bus departed from the north gate of Qianhu Miao Village on time and headed to Libo Xiaoqikong Scenic Area.

The drive is long, about four hours.

Sleeping and watching the scenery all the way without delay.

Although we were traveling on a high speed, the undulating mountains were always visible outside the car window.

Where there are villages, it is rare to see acres of crop fields. Only a small amount of corn, rice, vegetables, etc. are grown along the edges of the river at the foot of the mountain.

There are so many mountains in Guizhou, which was a concept I had never had in my mind before.

The shape of the mountain is also changing.

It was still continuous at the beginning, and the mountains were majestic, majestic and majestic.

The closer we get to Libo, the more beautiful and precipitous the mountains become. One by one, they are broken but not connected, like screens, standing straight up and down, staggered.

This style is very similar to the mountains in Guilin. If I didn't know that the clear destination was Libo, I would have doubted that I had arrived in Guilin.

There is a lot of water vapor in the air, and the distant mountains are like black clouds. The peaks and peaks are all wrapped in gauze-like mist, making them hazy and dreamlike.

Xiaoqikong Scenic Area is located next to Mengliu Town, 28 kilometers away from Libo County. There are many inns in the town, with spacious and clean rooms, good conditions and reasonable prices.

In order to continue our tour the next day, we chose to stay at the Love Inn in the town, which is less than ten minutes’ walk from the tourist center of the scenic spot.

Coincidentally, the inn we stayed in Zhenyuan was also called Love Journey.

Although it has the same name, it is not a chain store.

The guy at the inn was very enthusiastic, picked us up for free, provided convenient information about travel, and even lent us an umbrella the next day.

The service is very attentive, thumbs up.

We settled into our accommodation and had dinner, and it was almost three o'clock when we entered the scenic spot.

The sun was shining brightly in the sky, and Xiao Yang, a student in Guiyang, said that the rare high temperature allowed us to catch up.

However, the high temperature here is really inferior to the sauna days in the small town in the south of the Yangtze River where I live.

My colleagues came to Guizhou a few days earlier than us. Due to heavy rain, the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area was closed. We have traveled thousands of miles and returned home with regret.

Therefore, for us, if it doesn’t rain, the scenic spots are open, and we can play normally, it’s just that the weather is beautiful. This little bit of heat is really nothing.

Xiaoqikong Scenic Area is far away, large and has a long tour, but there are shuttle buses between various scenic spots, and the scenery is said to be beautiful.

Daqikong is right at the entrance to the scenic spot, close, small in area, and naturally short in length.

After weighing it up, we decided to visit Xiaoqikong first while the weather was fine and we were very interested and energetic.

After getting off the car, I saw green trees everywhere under the blue sky and white clouds, and I felt refreshed.

A piece of earth-yellow stone is euphemistically named "Oxygen Valley" with three big characters.

However, the freshness of the air and the beauty of the scenery are indeed eye-catching and nourishing for the "Oxygen Heart" and the heart, and it lives up to its reputation as the "Oxygen Heart Valley".

From a distance, you can see a few ropes pulling a huge wheel-like thing high up, which is very eye-catching.

When we walked in and took a closer look, we found that it was a bridge named Tonggu Bridge.

This is a suspended bridge with two huge drum-like logs pulled by ropes at both ends, and a steel cable and wooden planks in the middle.

Its unique design and beautiful appearance are breathtaking. I have to admire people's wisdom in building bridges. Practicality and art complement each other, and it is indeed a perfect fusion.

Standing on the bridge, the view is extremely broad.

It turns out that the road we just walked through in Oxygen Valley is also a bridge, hidden under the roadbed. If we hadn't stood high, we wouldn't have discovered this secret.

The green river water rushes out from several bridge holes and turns into several small waterfalls. A piece of white water splash rises above the green waves, rolling into the water under the Tonggu Bridge.

Pulling the safety ropes on both sides, I wandered to the middle of the bridge. I saw a piece of clear water coming quietly under the bridge and then going away in the distance. It was as soft as silk and as green as a jade belt.

There are green trees on both sides of the strait, and the red tile roofs of several buildings are hidden among them, adding a bit of tranquility and beauty.

After getting off the Tonggu Bridge and going upstream, we arrived at Xiaoqikong.

Before coming here, I never understood what Xiaoqikong was and why it got its name?

Only when we arrived did we know that Xiaoqikong is an ancient stone bridge with seven holes. It was built in the 15th year of Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty (1836). It used to be an important bridge connecting Libo to Guangxi.

This bridge looks like a single bridge, but it has survived many floods for hundreds of years and has remained intact to this day, which shows its exquisite construction craftsmanship.

This is where the name of the scenic spot comes from.

There was no wind, it was as level as a mirror, and it was almost impossible to tell the direction of the water flow.

There seems to be a pool of emerald under the exquisite stone bridge, which is bright green, yellow-green, turquoise, dark green, faint green, dark green, blue-green. I don’t know which words should be used to describe it.

In short, every time you change the angle, every time you twist the direction, the green that appears in your eyes and under the lens is different, which makes people fascinated, and they can't put down the mobile phone they are holding, for fear of missing the beauty of any angle.

The surrounding trees are also shades of green, and they all cast their beautiful figures in the water, contrasting with the waves of clear water.

The blue sky and white clouds are not willing to be lonely. The water and sky are playing with each other, blue and green. The water, light, clouds and shadows wander around, blending into each other to form a poetic picture.

The two-leaf boat floats on the water, as if suspended in the air.

The ethereal artistic conception makes people doubt the reality of this moment.

The mountains, water, mountains, sky, water and sky are all green here. It is as poetic as picturesque and dreamlike.

When you are here, you can't tell whether you are in a painting or a dream.

Xiaoqikong is indeed a paradise on earth.
