Jiulong Mountain, also known as Shangjiuyuan, is located in Xinmin Village, Pingtou Town, Baoji City. Jiulong Mountain, with its steep terrain and beautiful scenery, is named after the mist, just like a fairyland. Jiu Feng meets and hugs, just like lotus in full bloom and Kowloon dancing.
Jiulong Mountain Scenic Area has a total length of13.2km and an area of about 30km2. The whole natural scenic spot belongs to continental sedimentary rocks and is a typical Danxia landform. In the scenic area, there are rugged rocks, and the Xiaoshui River flows slowly through the canyon, which is known as the "Little Three Gorges in Northwest China".
