October is destined to be the season for letting yourself go, and October is even more suitable for art travel. In this October, more than 50 art students from Quanzhou Normal University, led by Lu Xiaochuan and Chen Weichang, went on Huaer Art Travel
Under the arrangement, we went to the northwest and Gannan for a 13-day sketching expedition.
It is reported that the students were very passionate about sketching during this trip. During the inspection process, they carefully searched for traces of history and culture, and they all benefited a lot from sketching and creating as they pleased along the way.
This sketching trip covered a wide range of places, covering Xi'an, Tianshui, Gansu and other places. Teachers and students went to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Shihuang's Mausoleum, Shaanxi History Museum, Maijishan Grottoes, Zhangye Danxia Geopark, and Yulin Grottoes.
Sand Mountain, Crescent Moon Spring, Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes, Labrang Monastery and other places have almost covered the entire northwest.
The first stop for this sketching trip was the ancient historical capital of Xi'an. Teachers and students went to the world-shaking miracle of Qin Shihuang's Terracotta Warriors and Horses, and the Shaanxi History Museum, which is majestic and majestic and integrates national traditions, local characteristics and the spirit of the times. It can be described as a dazzling collection of exquisite products.
Every brick and tile tells the history of Xi'an's ancient city wall.
The second stop was the grotto tour. This time we went to Maijishan Grottoes, Yulin Grottoes, and Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes.
The grottoes are a kind of temple building dug into the mountains. There are various murals inside. As a kind of art work, they have been passed down for thousands of years, reflecting the life scenes of various historical periods. These grottoes not only have extremely high artistic
It is a historical treasure of the traditional culture and art of the Han nationality in ancient China.
Teachers and students visited various grotto statues, felt their unique history and culture, and experienced the exquisite grotto art.
The Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes, which mainly feature statues and clay sculptures and murals, integrate the two arts of sculpture and painting. It is also the largest and best-preserved Buddhist art treasure house in the world.
Under the guidance of the tour guide, I also quickly learned about the art of the grottoes, and even the stories behind some of the grotto Buddha statues.
The Maijishan Grottoes are excavated on a cliff, and the caves are all accessible by aerial planks erected on the cliff face. The Buddha statues are mainly made of clay sculptures.
"My favorite is the Maijishan Grottoes. The grottoes here are different from others and even more shocking. Not only is the terrain steep, but the style of the grottoes is also unique, more distinctive, and it touches my nerves." Quanzhou
Students at the Teachers College told me.
The Yulin Grottoes are known as the "sister caves" of the Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes. The Yulin Grottoes have more exquisite murals than the Mogao Grottoes, and their content and style are inseparable from the Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes.
However, Yulin Grottoes are a breath of fresh air in the grottoes. They rarely publicize to the outside world. They mainly focus on research and protection of the grottoes. It is precisely in this way that many precious murals and sculptures here are almost completely preserved.
It has more than 1,000 years of splendid history and culture, vivid Buddha statues, exquisite sculptures, smart flying murals, and stunning rebounding pipa... Even a quick glance is enough to leave it imprinted in the depths of one's mind.
Deeply shocked by the power of faith and time.
The third stop is Mingsha Mountain, Crescent Spring and other places. Dunhuang, located in the Hexi Corridor, has its indescribable beauty. It is magnificent, beautiful and majestic. It has a clear spring with lingering ripples, as green as emerald. The spring is in the quicksand and will not dry up due to drought.
, the wind blows and the sand never falls. This is the Crescent Moon Spring of Mingsha Mountain, a place known as one of the five most beautiful deserts in China. At the same time, the wonder of "where the mountain springs are, and where the sand and water are born" describes this scene.
, because Crescent Moon Spring is surrounded by Mingsha Mountains and closely dependent on each other, the scenery outside the Great Wall is really amazing.
The last stop this time is Labrang Monastery. The trip here lasts for a long time, up to about four days. Here, students can freely collect scenery, find materials, sketch, and create. Some people say: before going to Labrang Monastery, there will be
It's famous, but you will feel that the next time you come is because of its shock.
Gannan, Labrang Monastery, the Tibetan Buddhist monastery with the most complete system of Tibetan studies in the world.
The purest Buddhist paradise, between the mountains, under the blue sky, golden dusk, crimson robes, and shining pagodas.
No matter who comes here and takes a quick look, they will be deeply shocked by the well-proportioned monks' houses and devout beliefs.
It was this scene that moved the teachers and students on a deep level. From then on, it was nostalgic and difficult to let go.
Students' passion for creation seems to be ignited here, and unlimited inspiration bursts out here.
Open the drawing board, pick up the brush, and conceive, create, sketch, and paint here.
It is reported that teachers and students created many works during the entire sketching process, and the teacher even provided on-site guidance to the students' works so that they could make progress the next day. In terms of understanding the culture, architecture, food, ethnic patterns, ethnic styles and
On the basis of having a sufficient understanding of the Northwest, they can accurately depict it with their pens. I also hope that through this sketching internship, the students will improve their professional and painting abilities.
Appreciation of students' works Quanzhou Normal University Yang Ke Quanzhou Normal University? Du Zenghui Quanzhou Normal University? Du Zenghui Quanzhou Normal University? Wang Chuqi Quanzhou Normal University? Wang Chuqi Art sketching is a necessary course for art majors. After reading it on paper, it will always be shallow. You must know this.
To practice, only by going deep into life, searching for and obtaining inspiration in life and nature can you better create art and improve your artistic accomplishment.
I believe that the students gained a lot this time, laying a solid foundation for future artistic creation and accumulating a large amount of materials.
